Here's a rather pretty (yet somewhat haunting) little number which started life as a simple ambient dub track with minimal instruments. I was all set to release it a few weeks ago when I decided "oh, this needs a sigh in there somewhere..." which led to "and some voices, a dulcimer, some violins, guitar, piano, and argh fine we gotta rebuild the drums as well...." Hey, we've all been there, amirite? Anyhow - here 'tis, and I hope you enjoy the glide.

I am very proud to present my official remix of Bipolar Sunshine's "Daydreamer."  On this one, I really tried to transport the listener and take them on a journey, incorporating smooth guitar lines to complement the atmospheric and dancey beat and synth-work.  Hope you enjoy it :)

I recently found myself ground through old records and reminiscing about times past and some of the music that I really liked over the years. The wonderful thing about music is that depending on your mood, there's a sound track to go along with it. I always loved melodic music, so I gravitated towards trance and progressive house. I played trance for years but as I matured, I couldn't get into the faster 138-140 bpm stuff anymore, but always loved the emotion in the music.
As I was going through tracks during the summer, I pulled a handful and made this mix that I absolutely love and can't stop listening to. I wanted to share it and hope some of you enjoy it as well and brings back some memories. Happy listening!

Lenny at the helm in the studio alongside James ‘D-Train’ Williams, together they have created another classic New York dance-floor hit with crisp beats and infectious melodies wrapped around a vocal that could only ever be recognised as the power-tones of James himself. The refrain “open my arms, I can’t believe, open my arms I can’t receive it” is a deep-rooted D-Train hook, perfectly executed as if it was straight off one of the act’s Prelude 12” smashes from the mid-80’s, the way that those songs always had a secondary vocal hook cleverly layered into the journey of the song like “with the love I have inside of me we can turn this world around”  from “You’re The One” was a secondary, yet strong hook line that resonated on the dance floor. “When You Feel What Love Has” has that magic too as the rhythm reverberates around the room enrapturing your senses into one.
