Like Tim Kasher, Tom Waits, and Johnny Cash went into a bar for a tequila shot and whiskey chaser.

With 15 years of songwriting experience in genres ranging from punk to folk to indie-pop. Teo Peralez is a truly unique songwriter from Fort Collins, Colorado. Heavily influenced by such diverse artists as Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, Flogging Molly, the Ataris, and The Good Life, Peralez uses an indie-folk infused sound and an autobiographical writing style to share stories of youthful misadventure.

Multi-Genre Producer, Engineer, DJ, and Instrumentalist based out of London.

Born in the UK in 1987 and moved to the USA in 2002. Spending several years living in Atlanta exposed me to the sound of Southern Hip Hop and eventually Trap, Chopped and Screwed, and many other staple Genera of that time. When Dizzee Rascals BIDC came out, my roots were realised, and the yearning for the emerging Grime, Dubstep and waining UK Garage scene always made my tastes very much those of an "outsider."

Upon returning to the UK I found myself re-immersed in a music scene Id grown very detached from, and from 2011-2015 I found my footing DJing mainly grime and 140bpm "Deep" Dubstep, as well as many of the old classics. 

Once my true entrance into production in 2015-2016 commenced - I found the music I gravitated toward was breaks-based. I explored my roots in Jungle and Drum and Bass for several years, before ultimately transitioning to working on mixtape projects and several larger projects for current UK Drill acts like 9th Street. It was that exposure to the rigours of beat selection, writing, recording and tracking vocals for the first time that made me for what seemed like the first time - appreciate the necessity for vocals. Very much a self-confessed "Instrumentalist" - my undying passion for Rap, Hip Hop both UK and USA forms, Grime and ultimately the entire art form of MC'ing that lead me to where I am now. 

At heart, the music the best represents me and captures my feelings and the sound palette and "feel" and rawness of what I felt the first time I listened to Dizzee's debut record - Grime is where I fit in. 

I personally believe the Grime scene NEEDS to continue to push itself and remain true to its roots. With many popular artists moving to a more UK Drill sound, I feel its more important than ever that new producers and MC's help to re-ignite the flame that is Grime music - a Genre that is born, bred and has been moulded by London and to many extents - UK street culture as a whole. Its the Genre that has always championed the under-dog. To me, it feels like a heritage I missed out on in my years abroad. Now I am back in my city of birth - the music I find the most inspiration in is Grime.
