Silk Royal is thrilled to present Silk Remixed 04, the fourth installment of the annual series, featuring various veteran talents and rising stars in progressive. Kicking off the compilation is Nigel Good's jubilant remix of "Sumr" by Dezza & Shoreliners. Fresh off his debut artist album, which reached #1 overall on Beatport, Nigel treats us to a sparkling, complextro-influenced progressive gem, rife with feel-good vibes. Vintage & Morelli, one of the standout artists from Silk's Arrival division, offers a fresh, peak-hour take on "Night Time" by Sound Quelle. A bouncy house rhythm sits below a stormy and evocative lead, punctuated by a haunting vocal sample. The main break is a goosebumps-inducing aural experience, as the vocal motif and piano poignantly coalesce. Aeron Aether's "Synthanelia" still finds a home in our radio and live sets; Jayeson Andel, a breakthrough artist on our imprint, offers a full-on trance stormer with his new rendering, which has received early radio support from Arty. The memorable string themes of the original soar above an adrenalin-fueled, stadium-rocking groove. French talent Matt Fax, another leader of Arrival, offers a new interpretation of one of Silk Royal's early releases, Pconvolve's "Cosmology". As the title implies, celestially-inspired synths transport the listener to the far reaches of the galaxy; a progressive breaks interlude and explosive drop in the latter half of the track are true release highlights. David Broaders closes out the first half of the release with an awe-inspiring interpretation of "Starman" by Gregory Esayan. A thunderous groove resolves into a beautiful piano and string-themed breakdown; these poignant melodies are some of the most enduring from the compilation this year.

New label recruit Illuminor, a rising duo from Australia, add a bit more punch to eleven.five's classic "Pinnacle". A highly innovative groove, as well as new variations on the main piano motif from the original, stand out in this fantastic new version. Trusty label veteran Sundriver offers a driving take on Denis Laurent feat. Kaisa Martina's "All I Need". A vintage lead chord progression, with numerous euphoric synth layers and arpeggios, paves the way for Kaisa's romantic vocal in the breakdown. British sensation Ben Coda, who has contributed in the past to the Silk Remixed series, returns with a peak-hour rendering of Zack Roth's beloved "Tekkadon". A clubby groove crescendoes into the breakdown, where the newly added, trance-influenced lead shines, alongside the memorable original theme. Russian duo Soarsweep, fresh off an EP on parent label Silk Digital, offers another visionary remix; this time, they have accentuated the emotive themes of "Both", originally a collaboration between Blood Groove & Kikis and LTN. Closing out the EP, Harold-Alexis, one of the stars of our chillout division (Silk Sofa), offers a drum & bass rework of Seagrave's "Storm". With bleeding-edge sound design throughout, this emotive track will be appreciated by fans in search of visionary, outside-of-the-box EDM.

Without any doubt, Sound Quelle presents the most anticipated EP of 2015 on Silk Textures: "Allarg / Fog". Thanks to early radio support from Above & Beyond, in addition to its inclusion on our "Only Silk 03" album, "Allarg" has already become a fan favorite on our calendar this year. It's a thrill to finally release it in full, unmixed form, alongside the lush and deep B-side cut, "Fog".

Kicking off with an uptempo deep-progressive house rhythm and an unforgettable "cosmic" synth theme, "Allarg" is a mesmerizing aural journey from start to finish. The bassline really takes off at the quarter turn, while a variety of starry synth lines and martian-friendly samples add tremendous depth to the soundscape. The main break features a gorgeous orchestral theme, coupled with the cinematic spacial elements. Yet, the most memorable moment occurs when a newly added piano line is joined by an ethereal vocal theme. Who knew that getting abducted could feel (and sound) so great?

Fans of more "traditional" deep house will love "Fog", the super smooth, groove-happy tune that rounds out Sound Quelle's EP. The resonant bassline from the early going gives this one a wonderful dancefloor-friendly swing, while jazzy instrumentation and subtle vocal stabs give the midrange a buoyant and, at times, euphoric vibe. In the main break, a noir-inspired saxophone adds an incredibly evocative aura to the already blissful soundscape.

Biography 
Anyone who approaches Techno music with intelligence and finesse is exactly in the right place with C.7even, because the young Frankfurt-native has her craft down to a tee. She found her way intoelectronic music back in 2009, shaped by many musical genres. Contrary to many others, her style is constantly evolving and driven by the passion to constantly reinvent herself.Groovy-melodic, mystic- hypnotic, straightforward-uncompromising- this is what she embodies, but she still has always a clear vision    her mind of the story that she wants to tell through the medium of electronic sounds. “A DJ set has to make sense to me, Im no fan of the approach to just step behind the decks and blindly improvise my way through my playtime- Im always aware of what it is that I want to convey to my audience. That moment, when you ignite that spark in your audience- when the dancefloor really lets loose and people follow your leadership- that feeling just cannot be bought, that’s why I personally prefer longer sets (4-5 hours or more) over short and compressed playtimes. You can unfold and spread your wings so much more, and the connection between you and your audience gets so much deeper and more intense. In terms of own productions, C.7even doesn’t have anything official under her belt yet- but she doesn’t have to, because good stuff takes his time and her sets more than speak for themselves.“im really not a patient person, that’s why I might need more time than others to complete projects. But I refuse to give in to outside pressure- nowadays everybody says “you have to produce, you have to promote events, you have to dothis and you have to do that in order to progress...„I rather focus on the things that I am good at and what I can represent and stand by to 100%,I wont tolerate a flood of releases and half-assed stuff. Mit Musik beschäftige ich mich seitdem ich denken kann und habe diverse Instrumente gerlernt. 1998 , nachdem ich 2 Jahre lang das Omen besucht hatte, fing ich an mich intensiv mit dem Auflegen und der der elektronischen Musik, zu beschäftigen und besuchte das erste mal einen Schallplattenladen um mir meine ersten 4 Schwarzgoldstücke zu kaufen. Nach 2 Jahren Übung und einigen Platteneinkäufen gründete ich mit Q zusammen das Dj Duo Namens „Das Q-Kontinuum“ und schnell hatten wir unsere ersten Gigs im damaligen Club X in Offenbach am Main. Am selben Tag starteten wir eine monatliche Show, für 4 Jahre, bei Radio X und spielten unserem „eigenen“ Sound, welchen wir „Deep and Dark“ nannten.
2001-2002 folgten diverse kleinere Events sowie das Endless Summer und auch das Gallus Theater, im Juli 2002 schaffte ich es zum erstmals bei Sunshine Live zu spielen. Daraufhin spielte er 2003 beim Ostermarathon (Sunshine Live) und auch ein 6h Set bei der Motorola Mix Mission.
Damit war mein drang mehr zu machen grösser geworden und schloss mich mit 3 weiteren Freunden zusammen um das Label „Deep and Dark Recordings“ im Jahre 2002 zu gründen. 2 Jahre erzielten wir damit gut Verkäufe. Am erfolgreichsten war das 10“ Release „The OMEN 2003 Ep“. Da zu dieser Zeit aber ein Vertrieb nach dem anderen Insolvenz anmelden musste, war auch das Label davon betroffen und wurde leider eingestellt.
Kurze Zeit später, im Juli 2004, fing ich an im damaligen U60311 zu arbeiten. Viele Kontakte und Freundschaften kamen dort zu stande. Es dauerte nicht lange und ich startete mit Pi Chai die Event-Reihe „Hike Beatz“.
Somit war der Weg geebnet regelmäßig im U60311 zu spielen, unteranderem ein unvergessliches Set an Silvester 2005 von 11h im Toiletten Vorraum. Von da an spielte ich jedes Jahr am „B-Day des U6011“, Silvester & an meinem Geburtstag. Da gab es jedes Jahr Oliver Andersons B Day Bash. Zusätzlich kam er in der „Lucky Sounds Booking Agentur“ unter wodurch er verschiedene Gigs im Bukowski / Heilbronn, Tanzhaus West/ Frankfurt, Cosacks Brennerei / Lipstadt, sowie in Basel und natürlich weiterhin im U60311. Außerdem arbeitete ich mit Lexx Aurel anfangs bei der Verhaltensgestört zusammen. Nach einer 1 Jährigen kreativen Pause, Ab November 2009, durfte ich mich zu den festen Resident Dj´s des U60311 zählen und hatte somit einen neuen Ansporn an mich selbst. Im Juni 2011 entstand meine eigene Event-Reihe „It´s all about Techno“ wo jede Nacht eine auf ihre eigene Art und Weise, einzigartige Nacht war und werden wird.
Im September 2011 war mein Ergeiz so gross, das ich den Guiness-World-Record für die längste Dj-set brechenwollte. Er lag zu diesem Zeitpunkt bei 120h & 19 Minuten. Leider war für mich bei 118 Stunden aus gesundheitlichen Gründen Schluss. Der Deutsche bzw. Europäische Rekord wars trotzdem.
Von meinen Fans bekam ich den Titel: „Weltmeister der Herzen“
Danach folgten einige Gig´s in Berlin, Würzburg, Aschaffenburg, Gießen, Offenbach, Bad Homburg & Frankfurt.
Im Januar 2013 wurde dann das U60311 endgültig geschlossen und ich hatte bis Oktober gebraucht um mir eine neue Homebase zu suchen. Diese war erstmal das Gambrinus/Bad Homburg wo ich auch wieder die „ It´s All About Techno“ aufleben ließ. Kurze Zeit später auch im MTW in Offenbach. Seit 1.1.2015 unterstütze ich nun Pik Fein bei der Sonderspur. Mit Ihm zusammen spiele ich auch als die Techno Teacher.
