This release set the tone for BlackGummy’s dark, cinematic sound and led to a trilogy of EPs — including Impactor and Monolith — each exploring profound themes and earning praise from industry giants.

Following his own headline tour and standout performances at festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, EDC Mexico, EDC Guangdong, Lollapalooza, BUKU Music + Art Project, and Shambhala — among many others — BlackGummy continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.

Now, after completing his trilogy, BlackGummy stepped back to create his most ambitious body of work yet — a project larger in scope than all three EPs combined, and his most expansive concept to date. This new era launched with a headline show at Sound for the We Are Friends event and a direct support slot for deadmau5 in London. Entering a new chapter, BlackGummy is preparing to unveil his long-awaited debut album, set to begin rolling out on mau5trap starting August 22, 2025, with the full release arriving later this year.
