Around the time we made "Torn" and had Mtwn remix t for us, we offered to do a remix of their Critical Level. It was the first time either of us had sat down to write a full on D&B stepper, it was quite fun, and again a really good example of how I (/we) treat remixes. Utilising as much of the original content, but putting a total rework into action, and using trademark sounds and techniques. This was given away as a free download, enjoy!

DREAM ON [free]

A personal favorite of mine, I started this project ages ago and originally called it 'Avatar' as I had just learnt the meaning of the word. When a year or two later the movie came out (yes, its that old!) I thought it wasn't really cool to name a tune after the latest Hollywood blockbuster, so when I eventually went in to finish it, I decided to sample a vocal from the movie, naming the track after the vocal itself, therefore keeping the link with the original track title. Since then, it has been signed and then forgotten, at least a couple of times, so I thought it was about time for it to finally see the light of day.
