Easy all!

I've been feeling a bit down in the dumps lately, so I wanted to do something positive to put me on my way back on the route to being in my happy zone. There's a young lad from Salisbury, Jack King his name is, rolls under the name of DJ Limit. He's a real diamond, sound as a pound. He fully supports me and the Demo Sessions lads, I'm talking on a super fan level, his support is amazing there's no other way to word it.

It's Jacks 19th birthday in a couple of months and he's throwing a bash at the music box in Salisbury (link will be at the bottom of this) and he's booked our boys to top the bill.

As a way of me thanking him for his support, I wanted to find a way to support him on his new journey as a DJ, so I got him to send me a mix then I ignored him, this may seem harsh but it was done with all the best intention. I didn't want Jack to have any clue that I was in the studio and had this recorded. I wanted it to be a complete surprise.

I'm not going to label it as the super mix of the year, because it isn't, what it is, is a mix from a new DJ and I know this will put a smile on his face. So yeah, not every mix is perfect, but we've all been in that position, we all started off at the bottom of the ladder, pushing, working to find each step up in the game.

This is my way of helping Jack with his first step up that ladder.

So Jack, take all feedback from this mix and work from it, don't take any criticism to heart and enjoy the ride, don't ever let any type of ego get to your head, the best piece of advice I was ever given is "you're never as good as your fans think you are" and that has kept me grounded every step of the way.

So I hope this mix gets you a few new listeners that have never heard you and tips from people on how they think you can improve and also obviously what they enjoyed, but most of all I hope you like it.

If there's anything you ever need on your journey you know where I am.

This time round we have the vocal talents of some of the finest mic men in the country involved and it's a real honour to have each and every one of them on board. All MC's have given their time to try and help push the future breed of Hardcore DJs and for that I can't thank them enough. Also I need to give a double thanks for Obie for the artwork and also to Jekyll for all engineering and mastering services (With out Jek's none of my mad little inventions would come to light!)

As you all know the whole idea behind the mix series is to take DJ's who haven't quite had the chance to shine yet but have a good work ethic and a spot on attitude and take one of their mixes with out them knowing and do our thing on it to try and give them a push. anything to help the future of our culture grow!
