Nacido en el año 1980 en Argentina. Comienza su formación musical en el año 1993 estudiando guitarra e interpretando distintos géneros musicales en la ciudad de Bariloche. En el año 2003 da sus primeros pasos en el flamenco junto al guitarrista Luis Antimilla, acompañándolo al cante en distintos bares y eventos de la ciudad. Mas tarde se traslada a Buenos Aires y una vez allí entra en contacto con la comunidad de gitanos españoles en la zona de Congreso. Comienza un período intensivo de clases de guitarra flamenca junto a grandes del género: Emilio Romero, Rodrigo González y David Amaya entre otros. Comienza a incursionar, tocando y cantando, en la movida flamenca de Buenos Aires junto al percusionista Martin Visconti, y en La Plata junto al guitarrista Luis Rivero. A partir del año 2010 regresa a Bariloche y se incorpora a la Gipsy, banda local de rumba flamenca integrada por Emiliano Zamora en guitarra, Carlos Casalla en percusión y Cristian Marilao en bajo. Junto a ellos ha realizado innumerables presentaciones en Bares, Cervecerías, Pubs y Restos de la ciudad, Hoteles como el Llao-Llao, Inacayal y Panamericano, entre otros, Eventos Corporativos y Particulares, Casinos, Fiesta de las Colectividades, Fiesta Nacional de la Nieve, etc. También han llevado su música a lugares como Esquel, Trevelin, Junín y San Martín de Los Andes, El Bolsón (Fiesta Nacional del Lúpulo), El Hoyo (Fiesta Nacional de la Fruta Fina), Córdoba, Viedma y la Ciudad de Buenos Aires. Fue intercalando su actividad en “la Gipsy” con shows de flamenco más tradicional como el que llevo a cabo el año 2012 acompañando en guitarra al cantaor español Jesule de Utrera y la bailaora Natalia Meiriño. En 2013 como percusionista y cantaor en el “Teatro Español de Neuquén” junto al bailaor sevillano Marcos Jiménez y el Ballet de Silvia Seisdedos. Ese mismo año realiza su primera producción musical, con gran éxito, en el Teatro “La Baita” (Bariloche) donde participa como productor integral y músico junto Rodrigo González, Verónica Marcovsky y el Pipi Manzano, altos exponentes del género en Buenos Aires. A partir del año 2014 comienzan a ampliarse las fronteras al realizar varios espectáculos como cantaor estable en la compañía de Ricardo Alvarado, director y coreógrafo de la Escuela de Baile Flamenco "Ecos Andaluces" de Valdivia (Chile). Ese mismo año comienza a compartir escenario con Arieta Abraham, cantaora de Cádiz (España) con la cual comparten muchos shows como dúo, con otras formaciones y también con la Gipsy, de la cual forma parte durante un tiempo. A partir del año 2016 comienza a compartir escenario con el gran guitarrista Adrián Higuera y con la bailaora y docente Soledad Dutruel, con los cuales comparte más de un escenario y muestras anuales de la escuela de Soledad. En la actualidad sigue participando full time con el proyecto de la Gipsy al cual este año 2018 ha traído un nuevo integrante que se ha sumado al proyecto, el gran pianista/tecladista Hernan Lugano, que ha sumado toda su experiencia y todo su arte al grupo generando un renovado entusiasmo en todos y provocando que la banda tome un vuelo aun mayor que el que ya tenía. Actualmente siguen con base en la ciudad de Bariloche, tocando durante todo el año, con ganas de grabar el tercer disco de la banda y siempre dispuestos a seguir ampliando sus horizontes, no solo en el flamenco sino en la música en general.

Maxi Trusso began his adventure in the 90's when he moved to England. He spent many years in those lands, which linked him to the world of fashion and music, participating in projects and playing with great European writers.
In Italy, formed the electropop duet "Roy Vedas" with an Italian, and released his first album with Mercury Records. Its futuristic hit "Fragments of Life" reached the Top 10 of the Top of the Pops, and is today a song of worship (the British magazine The Face elected it as one of the three best songs of the decade). In that song, he invented a voice effect that millions of artists used later: the auto-tune applied to generate a mystery voice effect. For this, Cher´s producer called him to collaborate on her album "Believe".
With Roy Vedas he played in Greece, Denmark, Sweden, and became the openning act of the Rolling Stones in Turkey, and the same one for Pulp, Mogwai and Madness in England.
In 2000 he returned to Argentina, and being a curious animal as he is, he decides to make an album of classic rock with folkand bluegrass. "Leave me and cry", his second album is released in 2006.
His amazing way of singing draws the attention of many people.
In 2009 he decides to turn his musical direction again, and explores new styles and sounds.
Recently he finished his Lp "Love Gone"; a timeless album, incredible, enjoyable and definitevely full of songs that could be the hit and be the envy of any group. Rock, pop, glam, godspel, folk, arrangements of violin, woodwinds, choirs and a unique voice, makes it a classic and innovative record, at the same time.
Finally, in 2010, "Love Gone" is released.
Maxi Trusso is voted "Best new upcoming artist", by Rolling Stone Magazine.

 The story of UB40, and how this group of young friends from Birmingham transcended their working-class origins to become the world’s most successful reggae band is not the stuff of fairytales as might be imagined. The group’s led a charmed life in many respects it’s true, but it’s been a long haul since the days they’d meet up in the bars and clubs around Moseley, and some of them had to scrape by on less than £8 a week unemployment benefit. The choice was simple if you’d left school early. You could either work in one of the local factories, like Robin Campbell did, or scuffle along aimlessly whilst waiting for something else to happen.

By the summer of 1978, something else did happen, and the nucleus of UB40 began rehearsing in a local basement. Robin’s younger brother Ali, Earl Falconer, Brian Travers and James Brown all knew each other from Moseley School of Art, whilst Norman Hassan had been a friend of Ali’s since school. Initially, they thought of themselves as a "jazz-dub-reggae" band, but by the time Robin was persuaded to join and they’d recruited Michael Virtue and Astro – who’d learnt his craft with Birmingham sound-system Duke Alloy – the group had already aligned themselves to left-wing political ideals and forged their own identity, separate from the many punk and Two Tone outfits around at that time. The group had nailed their colours to the mast by naming themselves after an unemployment benefit form. Their political convictions hadn’t been gleaned second hand either, but cemented in place whilst attending marches protesting against the National Front, or rallies organised by Rock Against Racism.

By the time Chrissie Hynde invited them to tour with the Pretenders during the summer of 1980 and their debut single "King b/w Food For Thought" had sailed into the UK Top 5, all the essential elements of UB40 were already in place. Their line-up will remain unchanged for almost thirty years, and they will continue playing a mix of original material and inspired choice of reggae covers in a style that’s instantly accessible with its bright melodies and sweeping horn arrangements – one that’s allied to a formidable rhythm section, capable of holding its own with anything from Jamaica.

UB40’s first album was released the following September, on Graduate Records. Their deal allowed them more creative freedom than if they had signed with a major label. The cover artwork memorably duplicated an unemployment benefit card, with the title "Signing Off" rubber-stamped in red, but it was the music that quickly worked its way into the affections of a young, mainly student crowd with its knowing lyrics, solid reggae rhythms and dubby, instrumental passages, offset by warm horn solos and Jamaican style scatting. There was nothing else like it at the time. As a multi-cultural band from Birmingham, UB40 weren’t drawn into trying to sound "authentic," and there was considerably more depth to their music than that of many punk and 2Tone bands. "I’m a British subject, not proud of it, whilst I carry the burden of shame," they sang on one of the tracks. Accepting the truth of their own situation amidst a sea of other reggae songs proclaiming black heritage gave us a valuable insight into where UB40 were coming from. They were unafraid to stand up and be counted, and British audiences instinctively loved them for it. "Signing Off" duly went to No. 2 in the UK and stayed on the nation’s album charts for 72 weeks.

On September 2nd, 2013, UB40 released their latest album ‘Getting Over The Storm’ on Universal/Virgin Records.

Who are the Funky Monks?
Since their 1984 debut album The Red Hot Chilli Peppers exploded out of the L.A. music scene with their own unique brand of cosmic hardcore mayhem funk. They were four self-confessed knuckleheads who thought nothing of indulging in a spot of onstage cock waving or partying on your pussy, baby. Bless em.
As they have matured like a fine wine, they have consistantly dazzled with their amazing skills as musicians and songwriters, demonstrating a refreshing reluctance to sit back and trade off past glories but with the band now in well earned semi-retirement the chance to sample the raw power of The Red Hot Chili Pepper live experience any time soon and at a venue near you seem slim........
What Lurks Under The Fridge?
Thousands of miles away in the less glamourous setting of Shropshire, England, some funk glands were being tickled by the Chili's mighty sound. Sensing the need ti spread their timeless music in places smaller than a stadium four diciples of The Funky Monks decided to become the freshest and baddest tribute band on the block in form of Under The Fridge. The group is based on the classic line up of Anthony Kiedis, Flea, John Frudciante and Chad Smith.
The funky musical cake consists of the tight rhythm section of Ryan Mortier and Leyton Burgess. Ryan's take on the funky-assed Flea bass is beautifully executed, showing off his varied skills from mellow melodic lines to complex jazz via manic slap bass. No easy feat considering Flea is one of the best bassists of his generation.
Leyton keeps a rock steady beat on his kit of skins with his style very much influenced by Chad Smith's no-nonense funk-rock attitude, no easy feat considering Chad is one of the best drummers of his generation.
The icing on this already tasty funky cake is Jim Streets. Jim is an accomplished axe hero who relishes the challenge of capturing the spirit of John Frusciantee, ranging from his trademark choppy funk licks to uninhibited Hendrix inspired solos. No easy feat considering John is one of the best guitarists of his generation.
Last but not least, the cherry on the top of the icing on the tasty funky cake is singer (and self proclaimed Motherfucker) Ben Burdall, who has the energy , showmanship and vocal talent of Antoine The Swan, making him a captivating frontman. No easy feat considering - Oh well you get the picture...
