Space Canaries... is the magic title of Wan Light's new album.
The Stockholm duo Wan Light has previously released two critically acclaimed albums on Labrador Records. This year, they give you on there on label Wan Light Music a stunning collection of new songs. Now, as then, the trademark is intelligent and symbolic fragmentary lyrics. There are clear links to both indie pop music roots, present and poetry, chasing melodies with coloured electronic britpop. Think Beach House as composers of Jackson Pollock or the Bombay Bicycle Club drinking rum with Paul Auster.
