Matt, a Dj who plays a variety house music ranging from soulful vibes through to the more uplifting sounds started Dj-ing at the age of 19 at an underground house club in Middlesbrough playing alongside international Dj’s such as Seamus Haji, Chris Lake, Steve Mac, Pete Gooding, Hoxton Whores, Grant Nelson and Kate Lawler. 

As the first few years of Matt’s dj-ing career went by as well as his residency at the Purple Onion, Matt also played for ‘Sugarshack’ at the Empire in Middlesbrough, Ten Feet Tall’s night ‘Play’, Trinity Rooms in Limerick Ireland and also for an Old Skool night named ‘Meltdown’ which was notorious in the North East of England for revisiting the house & rave scene from years gone by. This involved him playing with some more of the best DJ's and International P.A's around such as Abigail Bailey, Tom Novy, Duke, Shades of Rhythm and Rozalla etc.

In 2007 Matt made his first Dj-ing appearance in Ibiza playing for ‘Ibiza Residents’ night at Plastik then onto Eden’s funky room on the same bill as Jonathan Ulysees. This then repeated in the summer of 2008.

Matt was then handed a new residency in 2008 at Harveys Bar’s in Middlesbrough and Darlington where he began to put on his own nights along with brother Nick. This successful night attracted Dj’s such as Jon Fitz, K Klass, Jason Herd, Suzee X & Dermot C and is still going strong in the North East of England today. In 2008 Matt began playing for the famous brand Pukka Up playing at Pacha London as well as their boat parties and Es Paradis in Ibiza. Work for Pukka Up continued in 2009 seeing Matt play for Pukka Up at venues including J2 in Bolton.

2009 was a big year for Matt, he secured residencies for Paul Taylor’s brand ‘Retro’ playing at venues in Newcastle, Middlesbrough & Leeds and also at Pacha Ibiza and Boomerangs Magaluf over the summer. Matt also continued his work for Pukka up on their boat parties and was daily resident at sunset beach bar Kanya in Ibiza alongside Jon Allegro which held pre-parties for nights such as Judgement Sundays, Tiesto at Privilege, Cream and Twice as Nice. Matt could also be seen playing Sunday nights at Hush with Jon Constantine & Danny Graham and also making regular appearances at Plastik.

In the summer of 2010, Matt took up another summer of Ibiza residencies playing every night at Plastik and also at brand new venue, The Egg Bar. He was also Retro's Ibiza resident every Saturday night at Eden alongside Paul Taylor & Rob wilder and made guest appearances for Judge Jules brand Judgement Sundays playing on the same bill as Judge Jules himself, Eddie Halliwell, Stereo:Type, Tristan Ingram, Richard Durand, Lee John & Slipmatt amongst others.
