Watchers in the night sky

This Sound Piece has been recorded on the 7th of October, 2024, At the Merribek City Bandroom, With the help of Dale Gorfinkel (outhear.com). This piece was recorded with two Electric Guitars, a Telephone coil pickup on a Epson Eb-FH06 Data Projector, Two Hard Drives with video content and a Lenovo Laptop running Windows 11 Pro, using the Behringer Mixer. 
The piece is accomplished through using the guitar pickups to listen in on the electronic signals produced by the laptop and hard drives, accessing the files and playing videos which are then projected behind the performer. The Projectors inner workings are picked up by a Telephone Coil Transducer. 
This Multi-Media performance is made to emphasize the sound produced through the functioning of computers, media players and digital storage devices. To reveal these sounds and incorporate them into Sonic and visual form.

Different Faces - Live At SPACE III

A setup of modified solar panels connected to a portable audio recorder is used to listen-in on the hidden sonic world of lights.  The piece involves the artist moving amidst a lit performance space in a sort of dance through which the exposure to various lights (including LED, fluorescent, incandescent, and halogen) gets conveyed into sound. 
The feeling is of stumbling across an enchanted forest of sounds which under normal circumstances are completely obscured by our natural perceptions. Through the senses and perceptions of the machine (modified solar panels) we listen into the machine (electromagnetic lights). This Sound Piece was made for the Reverb event at the Abbotsford Convent. Exhibited 25th to the 29th of June.


Within The Lights

This Piece is made as a soundtrack for Michael Camakaris video installation 'Fall of Icarus' at Arts Project Gallery, Collingwood Yards, May 2025. Incorporating recordings from solar panels, low frequencies, and ambient mechanical tones, the score builds an ominous pressure that never quite overwhelms, mirroring the slow, inevitable trajectory of collapse unfolding on screen.
