Groove of the Day Guest Week

I wouldn’t know if you were of the same line. Cut frayed and twisted, we’re loose at the ends, the same ties. You roped me into this one last chance to claim. When you ask me for help i’m not one to shame. I’ll take the consulate over the cage.

Loose Ends

I ran forward, propelled, shot ahead, before me it was all. There was nothing left behind, no memory. You get me so fuckin high, not allowing time nor space for reflection to take place. Heat lightning in northern skies, worry on some stoop so far, one greater force in myself. In a moment I was set down on the ground, pulled by that body that had let me run freely. Saved by the one that could see me so clearly.

Heat Lightning

No breath allowed here. Emptiness, worst fear. The light’s dead and your holding on. It sounds sad but be glad that you don’t want to stay here. Play it like there’s nothing going on and stick around in your void, you might as well be gone. Vibrations, cold wind. Spilled matter, tail spin.

The Void

We could go anywhere, if you stayed I would say you’re in luck. We have so much to share, if you must go your way take my luck. Not all our lives are intertwined, earthquakes emanate at the fault lines and dissipate. When we’re close nothing bears as much weight so we stay behind closed doors. In our woe, broken shares from this place, disarray when you want more.

Quake

By the river feeling lazy, head clouds. See the flowers in the making drawn out. Clearly going with the currents, congruent with a course of fluid movement. Take notice, steadfastness. Make it last. Always staring but I’ve looked with closed eyes. I’m not lying on the first kiss this time. Knowing well our limitations, deft hearts, still we make the reservation short notice. Flipped my switch. Changed my plans. Lets just go, reckless behavior. Speaking low, never a quaver. Don’t worry about direction, we’ll just follow. Following liquid extension, admiring our reflection on the surface, break the tension. When you say we have momentum are you giving me permission to be open and exalted?
