Rising Philadelphia-based DJ/Producer livv has been turning heads with his bright and energetic productions since a string of 2021 vocal-featuring singles. In 2025, livv will release Front Seat his first EP of solo dance music, marking an exciting new chapter for the artist. With this four-track release, livv blends the raw, groovy energy of Detroit techno with the smooth, hypnotic elements of acid house, all while drawing on the energetic pulse of rave breaks and the swagger of 00s hip hop. Known for his slamming house beats, livv's signature style is unmistakable throughout the EP, but it’s the lush vocal textures and wriggling 303 bass lines that truly set Front Seat apart.



The tight, insistent beats of lead single “Front Seat” set the tone, spilling over intro a swirling breakdown that keeps you guessing. “Drop It” captures the essence of 3 AM in a dirty warehouse, the bass crunching and collapsing all over a mix of big room drums. “Puntal” takes us somewhere else, lowering the tempo to a streetwise strut and dancing between crispy melodies. “Fancy” bookends the EP by synthesizing all the magic of the other three tracks into a gritty, underground anthem.
