Confidential Recipe debuts on Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects with the deep, tracky techno of the ‘What You Think EP’. 

Heading straight to the club is the titular ‘What You Think’, with 909 kits pulsating alongside a variety of considered samples and visceral effects, followed by ‘Drill’, a pummeling yet subdued onslaught of FM tones and crisp hi-hats. 

‘Grain’ drives delayed vocal chops to the centre of the brain, as modulating synths flicker around relentless drum patterns. Hypnotic textures and smooth, fluttery pads take charge on ‘See You’ before ‘Body (Detroit Feeling Mix)’ adds a quirky flair to the release with its Dance Mania inspired samples, melody, and stabs.

Matt Edwards aka Radio Slave displays his knack for A&R by recruiting the Venezuela born, Colombia based Confidential Recipe, who has delivered a dose of high quality, heads-down techno artillery for the hard-hitting sister label to Rekids.

After a rather long hiatus due to well known circumstances, Stützpunkt returns with its third release. Berlin based French producer and DJ @casual-treatment makes his debut on the imprint with the „Devotion EP”. Uncompromising while staying true to the genre’s roots, the record embodies the soul of the German capital’s sound.
„Tourmente” recognizes the itch under your skin, feeling it out and giving in to the demand.
Taking a „Trip to Alderaan” feels like going on a journey to a blooming past that hypnotizes its passengers in an unforeseeable future and into a magical past.
„Abrasion” breathes life into the tired soul, never losing its prey, putting you in consequential trance and ecstasy.
The fourth track „Devotion” not only gives the record its title but also caps a voyage down memory lane into the most perceptible realms.

Michael Peters, A.K.A. M Data, continues to progress within the electronic music scene in the U.K. and beyond Performing under the “M Data” and “ThoughtProcess” aliases, and also being involved in several other projects, has resulted in many new opportunities. 2023 saw active and continual exploring, working towards, and making progress in several areas, growing fanbase, reach, and catalogue via label releases, self releases, live gigs, various event hostings, and radio show residency.

Music releases in 2023 included several EP’s on Subplant Records, Industrial Coast, Green Blade tapes, and 4 self released EP’s, ThoughtProcess live and studio albums, and a 2h 30m Live Ableton set recorded exclusively for, and broadcast via MinimalDetroit / DeepSpaceRadio. 2024 has already seen 4 self-releases to date with
more scheduled.

Live gigs included regular Organik residencies, Noisebox at Bloc Glasgow, Marrapalooza Festival, NorthernTape Festival, and also World Headquarters support live act for Detroit legend Robert Hood.
