It all began for me around 2002 when I formed a band called Firebug . Back then I had only peaces of what-I-thought-it-was reggae songs. Then I watched those ideas breathe into life in the form of rocksteady and ska by the hands of one of the most talented, and very active,  jamaican music producer/sound engineer/multi instrumentalist, who later became a very close friend of mine: Victor Rice, who had recently stablished himself in São Paulo, Brazil, my native town. As you can see in this virtual spot, everything I ever wrote it's ether produced or mixed by Victor himself! 
After a couple of years we've put out 3 records of pure and sincere rocksteady, ska, reggae and soul and I found my ever-growing love for Jamaican music! By 2010, I had gone touring with the Skatalites more then once, had backed artists such as Pauline Black (The Selecter) and Manu Chao, had shared the stage with many of today's rocksteady and ska artists.
Here you will find one of my proudest achievements as a songwriter, as well as the result of very special moments where I had the chance to record with people I really respect and admire: You will find , among these songs, sax solos of the legendary jamaican dinosaur Cedric Brooks, trumpet solos by Kevin Batchelor from the Skatalites, powerful vocals and lyrics from mr. Glen Pine from The Slackers, Co-writing tunes with Chris Murray, trombone from Buford O'Sullivan, guitars from Agent Jay ( Slackers ) and many more cool cats!
