The Maxa art car is a temple on wheels; it’s living a sonic experience like no other. 

It’s being able to project my sound into the emptiness of the deep playa and knowing it is received with love. And when it begins to move, and we become a ship crossing the desert, it makes my skin transform and allows me to feel once again one of the most unique and beautiful sensations of my life—one that only happens there. 

Thank you, Maxa. It is always an honor to share my music with my beautiful community.

Getting on top of the beautiful MAXA deer is always a special moment. I shared my favorite morning of the burn there dancing with friends so I was excited to play. 

It had been a moody rainiy week, but we were finally free to enjoy the last few days on Playa. This set captures that transition between the chaos and the joy.

Nacho Isa - Maxa - Burning Man 2025

Playing on the Maxa art car was truly special to me. Not for some life-changing moment. No rebirth, no spiritual awakening at sunrise or mythical transformation in the dust.

It was about a brilliant crew from Mexico who built a giant deer that rolls through the desert, vibrating violently with every kick drum, wrapped in absurdly well-controlled LEDs, firing flames, and carrying a huge, great sound system that unites people and makes them dance. A surreal piece of art crossing the playa that simply fascinates me.

Standing there, surrounded by friends, looking out at a massive crowd genuinely dancing to my music, made me very happy. Sandwiched between Gavlak and Jonathan Kaspar, two artists I deeply respect, it simply made sense.
Thank you for this night.

Thursday early a.m. carried the full spectrum of the playa: the waiting and then the lift of it all finally coming together. It was dark and still, fragile and fleeting, but in that moment everything was in motion. Riche at the helm. 

“Arriving at this moment on the Playa, playing for Robot Heart was the definition of delayed gratification after so much blood, sweat, and tears.

We arrived in 70 mph winds on Saturday, and our plane made the fastest landing the control tower had ever seen. Then we had to postpone the bus twice, and it truly seemed like it wasn’t going to happen this year. But somehow, at the very last moment, they ran into my camp, found me in the dinner line, and asked if I could play that first clear night. It all came together in that imperfect yet perfect playa way, and now it’s a memory I’ll never forget.

After days of storms and chaos, we were all ready to finally let go and dance. We rocked the bus, and I couldn’t stop smiling, surrounded by the joy of it all.

To my Robot Heart family, thank you for welcoming me into yours and trusting me with this moment. The bus is history, the future, and a hallowed place for music.

I couldn’t have done it without my friends, my community, and everyone who helped make it happen. I love you all to the moon and back. Thank you. We did it.

And to everyone watching now, I hope you feel the energy and love we all felt that night from the 🤖❤️.”

So yeah.
First time in Thailand.
First time at Wonderfruit.

I’ve heard so many great things about this festival over the years —
but it honestly blew me away.

From the music curation and sound to the stage design, food, drinks, and crew — everything was on point.
This easily became one of my all-time highlights.

Massive thanks to everyone who came to Baan Bardo and turned those two hours into something truly special.
And a big shout-out to the entire Baan Bardo team for creating such an amazing experience.
