Maxa by far hosted my favorite music this past year, and I’m so grateful to the team for the colossal effort it takes to manifest this each year!

It's a pleasure for me to share part of this beautiful experience, of playing with the incredible Maxa family at Burning Man. Personally, it was the best experience of my life sharing the days I was in the desert with them from the first day to the last, and having the opportunity to play at sunrise surrounded by incredible people was the icing on the cake.

We’re still floating on cloud nine, finding it nearly impossible to come back down after such a beautiful and intense experience. Playing on the Mayan Warrior this year surpassed anything we could have imagined—it was pure magic.

Burning Man is a testament to the boundless creativity and adaptability of humanity, where together we push limits and create unforgettable memories. This year, we truly lived a dream, a moment etched in our hearts forever.

We are deeply grateful to the entire Mayan Warrior team: Pablo, Amal, Jesús, Arturo, Linus, Thomas, Carlos, and everyone who made this incredible moment possible. You helped us realize one of our biggest dreams, and for that, we are forever thankful.

Butterflies in Babylon 2025 - Bákayan

¨Performing atop the new Mayan Warrior at Sunset on Friday at Burning Man this year felt like stepping into a dream. Watching the sun melt into the horizon as I played my set of originals, edits, remixes and my electric guitar, I felt deeply connected to the moment.

Each year at Burning Man is its own special thing. Sometimes magic, sometimes mud :) This was my favorite Burn since 2012 because everything felt right. Perfect weather, amazing vibe, celebrating my birthday with incredible people, and being part of co-creating moments that will stay with me forever. Combine this with playing the grand return of the Mayan Warrior before the legendary Rufus Du Sol, and this is a week I don't think I'll ever forget.

Endless gratitude to Pablo, Rodrigo, Amal and the rest of the Mayan Warrior crew who made this all possible.¨
