The Virtues Of Loss is the result of profound revelations, which came along a self-healing journey into the dark.  Bringing it to life became a creative guide that helped us find a spark of light to navigate the path in trust once again. And so, we felt inspired to translate all the wisdom we learned into 5 hours of musical landscapes to spread that brightness to all those wounded hearts ready to embrace healing.   

We are ALL letting go of someone, something, or somewhere … most of the time, even letting go of an identity within ourselves. 

Let’s inspire each other by sharing our gifts as we navigate high tides. Raising the sail is not a one man’s job; we are in this together.

When the Temple burns, we bury a part of ourselves. 

We remember. We cry. We smile. And we move forward. 

A beautiful moment of eternity. Something intimate. Sometimes hard. Somehow sacred.

Playing on the Robot Heart bus after the Temple Burn has become an annual tradition for me.  It's a very special moment emotionally.  But this one was the toughest.  For many reasons...

But in the end, this closing opened the door to something bigger.

I am forever grateful for what happened afterward. Family for life. Unforgettable. All love.

Dear fellow humans. Please take a moment to read this. 

This downtempo set was meant to happen live in the Maxa Deer, alongside epic musicians and their instruments on the Friday sunset of Burning Man 2023, yet we had to surrender to a storm that humbled us all and gave us a true rebirth. So we decided to still create a set to elevate a powerful message and we are deeply honored to raise these spiraling frequencies of wisdom to the world through the Maxa Platform that is true family to us.  
Our inspiration for this DownUnders chapter is the collective metamorphosis we are navigating. We cannot deny It feels dark, so It’s more important than ever to keep our hearts open and connect to our craft, as a way to maintain our inner harmony in balance through the turbulence of a wild world. 

This musical journey also reflects the depths of intentionality beating in the heart of Maxa which are now birthing to light for the community. As much passion as we have for electronic music that makes us fly on a dancefloor, we are also widening the spectrum and welcoming other angles of musical craft which can delight our ears in a slow and loving way that speaks to our soul. 

It is so important for us to hear which parts of this journey resonate with you, so If you have something powerful to share in the comments please do so. Now, we do support free expression, yet are also sensitive to the fact that we are all overwhelmingly flooded by dual information in all platforms, so we kindly share… this is by NO means a space to take sides or express political opinions, we will NOT tolerate flags or any kind of propaganda in the comments, this is merely a universal expression of love and a calling for unity through music, so with all our hearts help us get spread the message in a peaceful and harmonious way.

The day will come where we get to share in flesh from the echoes of the Maxa Deer in Black Rock City.

For now, here is another 4 hour immersion into music and poetry to inspire you through the Spirals of Growth.

Every year, with the exception of 2020 for reasons we all know, I've been attending this incredible party. Each time, it leaves me feeling revitalized, brimming with energy, creativity, and motivation. The sheer talent present, both onstage and offstage at Katerblau, is astounding. Being invited back each year by my dear friend @mira_kater is an immense privilege and honor. 
These birthday celebrations go beyond mere social events - they are pivotal gatherings where artists converge, creating a fertile ground for collaboration and artistic exchange. This part is super important – it really ramps up how we all connect through art and expression, helping everyone's creativity shine, both solo and as a group. I'm especially grateful to Mira for orchestrating such a significant event around her birthdays <3 
This year, I had the honor of wrapping up the Heinz Hopper stage on Monday afternoon. My set began at 8:30 am, following the electrifying performance of @pauli-pocket and @sheila_wn. Although scheduled to conclude at noon, the energy was so infectious that I played until 2:30 pm. A highlight was playing back-to-back with @matildoutz-paris, an artist whose work I frequently admire. Initially, it was a group back-to-back session alongside Matilda, my good friend @shimon-earthly, and his music partner @farrylive. But in the last hour, it was just Matilda and me, creating an exhilarating atmosphere. Despite the fatigue from my travels, we were lost in the music, dancing, and feeding off the crowd's energy.
So, without further ado, here's the recording of that set. Bonus points to anyone who can guess first where the b2b session starts! ;)

As we prepare to head out to the dust in 3 month's for CREATION, we take a look back at when we all journeyed into S P A C E at Afrikaburn 2023. We are delighted to present the enchanting sounds of Heimlich Knüller's Friday session at Ubuhlanti (made even more magical with a fiery Tankwa Karoo twilight). This musical pearl diver served up a masterful selection of downtempo tunes, crafting a captivating afternoon in our Kraal for his debut at Ubuhlanti--the result being one of the most memorable moments of AfrikaBurn in 2023. Incidentally, it was the tireless treasure hunter's first African outing, and we hope certainly not his last! Thank you for this unforgettable musical postcard Heimlich Knüller

Heimlich Knüller - Ubuhlanti Stage at Afrikaburn 2023

One of the highlights of my Bali / Asia tour. The Spa sessions at Bond Bali. Unfortunately, his birthday set did not get recorded (haunts me till this day), so this is the second attempt, a week later in his beautiful Spa in his breathtaking bond home. This journey is equally amazing, weird, and wonderful. The ubud magic is real.
