In 2018, Mr Borghetti co-produced MIA by Bad Bunny featuring Drake — the first Spanish-language track to ascend to No. 1 on U.S. Apple Music. Certified 5× Diamond by the RIAA and lauded globally, Mía peaked at number five on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming Bunny’s first top 10 single on the chart as a lead artist and Drake’s 26th. The song also topped the charts in Spain, and reached the top 10 in Argentina, Canada, Colombia, El Salvador, Greece, Panama, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland and Venezuela; as well as the top 20 in France, Italy, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The song originated in 2018, when Mr Borghetti and DJ Snake, fresh off the global success of Taki Taki, co-produced the original demo that would lay the foundation for the final version.
