Basement Jaxx - Good Luck [MaxBPM Mashup]

Here's a sneak peak into resident LeBombardier's forthcoming remix of Subsonik & Smooth's rework of 'Red Sky', originally produced by John B way back in 2007. This is some of the first vinyl spun when LeBpmbardier started out on the same year.

The final remix will comprise of 4 tracks brought together into one release.

We're always reading comments on Blue Marble's release 'Invincible' of people drawing parallels with Camo & Crooked's 'Nothing Is Older Than Yesterday', and we couldn't agree more, so resident DJ LeBombardier put together a quick mashup to see how they match.

And the results - not bad. They're not exactly the same BPM, and they're rolling at different keys, but they certainly seem more alike when not fused.

Sound Nomaden - Swing It (ft. Noisestorm) [MaxBPM Complextro Mashup]

A modern crack at Irving Berlin's 'Puttin' on the Ritz', premiered in 1930 as a soundtrack to the film that bears the same name. You'll hear original samples in there, especially at the start, but back then they didn't have such a thing as a consistent rhythm so re-ordering everything into a reliable BPM was the sticking point.

A welcome break from the Coronavirus that's approaching its peak in Europe currently.
