The Frankfurt master-craftsman returns Back on Bedrock since his Usual Suspects collaborations project with Jimmy Van M in 2012, Oliver Lieb makes up for lost time with three immaculate journeys.

Named after NASAs deep space exploration missions, Epoxi truly is a trip. A luxuriously unhurried arrangement where a star-gazing chord rises and rises, the adventure is charged by a rolling groove, warm off-beat bass and a late entering hook that will truly cause deep impact.

Its followed by The Force. Another precision title, you can feel the push from the very second this kicks into action. Widescreen drums punch with a techno attitude but shuffle and swing with house sass creating a brilliant sense of instant immersion. Once again its the half way point which really switches things as psychedelic harmonic textures whirl and warp into the mix, changing the narrative entirely, taking you to places you never expected to exist.

Monospectral is our final odyssey of the EP. Rich in emotion, subtly epic, totally arresting; from the bottom of its pulsating foundation chords to the very top of its near-evangelistic hooks and synth sweeps, vibrant slices of imaginative dancefloor electronica like this dont come around very often. File under: new dimension. Lets hope Oliver doesnt leave it so long next time. Happy travels.

Premiere: D-Formation - DC 18 [Beatfreak]

The first on the forthcoming two-tracker from Animal Trainer, ‘Rebirth’ encompasses the feeling of anticipation and optimism. Funk and disco inspired beats and synth lines offer an irresistible hook to the track. Space-like sounds and gentle but swirling melodies build throughout with signature Frankfurt-style techno bleats peppering the track. With each minute that passes, the elements come together to work in harmony, bringing us closer to a new beginning; a ‘Rebirth’.

In a continuation on the journey that Animal Trainer have laid out in this EP, second track ‘Awakening’ projects a celestial feel. Following on from a previous sense of anticipation, we now feel we have landed in the presence of a new and higher power with ‘Awakening’. A steady pulsing beat forms the undercurrent

for this transmission. Overlaid with electrical tweets and gentle acid-esque melodies, the track delves deep with snare rhythms pinpointing clear tribal influences. Here we are in 2013 too! The new year starting with a really fresh EP from the label manager Max Demand (a.k.a. Garen Daren). Included two techy tune and a fantastic remixer. The first track from the EP called 'Humans'. Deep, dark and dirty house music. The second track, 'Viva' is a funky based tech-house bomb. A spanish producer made a remix for 'Humans', who had many releases at big labels like: Kiara, Inmotion, Novotek. Welcome in the Deep Beep family: Leix! He made two different remixes. 'Leix's Deep Mix' is deeper of course but 'Leix's Beep Mix' is a more powerful, dancefloor friendly version. What are you waiting for? Grab a copy!
