Angelo D'onorio

Angelo D'onorio est un DJ et producteur néerlandais d'origine italienne. Son style est décrit comme de la tech house et de la techno mélodique avec une touche funky avant-gardiste. 

Dj-ing depuis 1991 et producteur depuis 1994, Angelo est considéré comme l'un des pionniers de la scène techno d'Amsterdam. 
Travaillant dans les années 90 en tant que résident pour It, Mazzo, Paradiso, Awakenings et Welkom to the future et des spots réguliers chez Chemistry et Roxy, il a reçu de nombreux prix en tant que DJ préféré aux Golden Gnome Awards. 

La musique d'Angelo est apparue sur Metrohm, Bakroom, Manual, 90watts, Traum Schalplatten, Music Man, Bosh, Carbon, Mazzo, Circoloco et Fabric London. 
Angelo est un véritable mordu des machines à musique et construit ses morceaux principalement autour de ses sessions analogiques et modulaires.

Studyman

Il découvre les musiques électroniques fin des années 80 avec son frère
qui lui ramène des maxis de groupes tels que dépêche mode, Kraftwerk etc...

lors de ses voyages en Angleterre. Nourri par la New-wave, pop synthétique et toutes les musiques à base de synthétiseurs et boîtes à rythmes.

Dans les années 90, il se contamine aux sonorités de Detroit et de Chicago ainsi qu’à la technique des plus grands Dj du moment.

Son intérêt pour les synthétiseurs et boîtes à rythmes grandissant, il gagne sa première machine séquenceur à un concours Dj en 2001 (Le Mans cité chansons) : 
c’est décidé il passera de l’autre côté du clubbing et composera ses propres morceaux qu’il sortira en vinyle et digitale sur différents labels. 

Allant de la deep house à la techno,
ses influences sont sans conteste du côté américain et berlinois : 

Robert Hood, Jeff Mills et le label UR, Marcel Dettmann, Sterac, Ben Klock,
 la House de Chicago de Dj Sneak, Derrick Carter…

Se forgeant sa propre identité musicale et construisant ses propres instruments éléctroniques, il injecte son groove et ses rythmiques percutantes dans ses sets de Dj et dans ses productions jouées et playlistées par Dj Deep, Marcel Dettmann...

Son amour pour les sonorités acides lui ont valu de signer récemment sur le mythique label Français Brique Rouge à l’occasion de la compilation BR303...
