Nicco Lupen is an Italian DJ and producer based in Prague. His path in music began at the age of seven, after watching Queen’s legendary Live At Wembley Stadium concert on tape. Starting out on keyboards, he later switched to bass at fourteen, performing in punk and nu metal bands around Milan.

At nineteen, Nicco discovered reggae and dancehall, marking his first step into DJing with vinyl. In 2008 he moved to Barcelona, where he became part of the Luv Messenger  and performed across Spain and Europe, including two appearances at Rototom Sunsplash, one of the world’s most important reggae festivals.

Over time, his focus shifted towards electronic music, with house and tech house becoming his main language. Now based in Prague, Nicco is active on the local scene and abroad, known for precise selections, consistent energy, and productions built for the dance floor. His recent projects include a collaboration with Italian producer Romerlin and a catalogue of independent releases that reflect his years of experience and passion for the craft.

Signed to IRMA Records (Bologna, Italy), Leo Pesci’s upcoming Neapolitan-language album blends soul, hip-hop, funk, and traditional folk, featuring collaborations with rising voices from Naples’ indie scene. Through themes like capitalist alienation, cultural identity, and power structures, Leo channels his roots into a powerful reflection on modern society.

The use of Neapolitan becomes an act of resistance and pride—preserving heritage while pushing sound forward. Raw, emotional, and unapologetic, Leo’s music is a call for awareness in a world that often favours appearance over substance.

Originally from Napoli (Italy) and based in London, songwriter and producer Leo Pesci blurs the lines between Soul, Funk, Hip-Hop, Nu Jazz, and global sounds. After two acclaimed EPs and the album IMPOLITE—featuring standout names from the London Nu Jazz scene and airplay on BBC1, Jazz FM, and World Wide FM—Leo now returns with a bold new chapter.
