This time he kicks things off with “Shook” and vocalist Just Jack of Name One, who’s history includes collaborations with Adriatique, Hyperclour and Maxxi Soundsystem. His resounding vocals join forces with a flickering staccato lead to create an uplifting, light and spacious feeling that envelops the listener deeper within the sound.

“Annie’s Backyard” merges the vibe of 80’s electro with Gullen’s emotional tendencies, resulting in an energetic  experience for the body, mind, and soul; we are sure to make this the closing track when we can dance together again on a sun drenched rooftop!

Gullen proving his inspired and dependable sound yet again, that we know mobilee listeners will love.

This time a sundrenched, funky collaboration of two acts straight outta Germany.

LES LOUPS:
Hamburg based Les Loups' music is a melting pot of modern dance and electronic music as well as organic and raw elements from dusty disco to glowing pop. Toni, Felix and Phil’s popularity grew big with their summer hit ‘Colourblind’ in 2014. It premiered on Majestic Casual, where it belonged. The follow-up single „Stay“ with danish soul talent Marie Dahlstøm received the Scandinavian Soul Award for „Best Single 2015“. More releases followed. Late 2020 saw the release of Les Loups’ Single “Enough” featuring Berlin-based singer YOSIE. With support from Majestic Casual, TheSoundYouNeed, Electro Posé and Satin Jackets’ acclaimed “Nu Disco” playlist, the group decided to bring Dutch-producer Feiertag and Hamburg-based David Bay (by the band Pool) on board for special remix versions. The boys and DJ Supermarkt / Too Slow To Disco go way back, the trio were one of the earliest guests in the TSTD Monarch parties.

DAVID BAY:
David Bay is better known as a member of the German pop band POOL. The Hamburg based mid-twenties diy-disco-producer is now working on his solo career. With his band Pool, he already opened for bands like the 1975, played whole Europe and the US and released on labels like Kitsuné and Diynamic. David started his solo project with remixes for the likes for Kytes, Rikas, The Phenomenal Handclap Band and Verboten Berlin. The first original tracks are set to come this summer.

The boss is back home! And as you'd expect from Hernan, its jam packed full of goodness. This collection of gems are all new versions of tracks that were used and made for Hernan's Balance CD, all freshly updated for you lovely Sudbeat fans.

So lets get to it, and we kick of with James Teej superb rework of 'Into The Edge' from Hernan & Soundexile. James has recently been in the studio with Timo Mass to remix Paul McCartney. We'll let that sink in a minute while you realise how big a deal that is...! James remix has Big bass, emotive chords and tinkling melodies that combine beautifully here creating rather large rework of epic proportions, with a tad of melancholy thrown in for good measure.

Rising start Khen takes controls next, and with his recent works on Plattenbank, microCastle and Lost & Found, its no wonder this likeable chap is causing a bit of a fuss. This intense melodic gem subtly grabs your attention along its mesmerising voyage before its devastatingly cool key changes raise the temperature even hotter on this damn fine remix.

Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile - Lunar (Simon Vuarambon Interpretation) is our next port of call. Simon is a Sudbeat favourite and makes a welcome return working his magic on Lunar. This rework is a sophisticated del journey that undulates and teases, with alight eastern vibe, this musical workout is a lesson in restraint in the studio.

And another Sudbeat favourite, Mike Griego remixes Hernan Cattaneo & Guy Mantzur - Imaginarium, and takes this in to a hypnotic territory, that locks you in to its magical spell, encapsulating your mind, while its tension builds and the track develops beautifully. A solid dance floor workout rounds of this package superbly.

Premiere: Henry Saiz & Tentacle - The Prophetess (Brian Cid Remix)

Its been a long time coming: longstanding Sicilian electronic artist Mauro Di Martino has blessed the dancefloor with an endless array of journeys since the very foundations. Musumecis place on Bedrock was etched from the very beginning.

Two all-out odysseys, both hewn from conceptual roots, they follow his previous adventures on the likes of Diynamic, Connaisseur and his own Engrave imprint. We take lift off with Kamakura, a track inspired by a line of Buddhist scripture thats driven him for many years: The journey from Kamakura to Kyoto takes twelve days. If you travel for eleven but stop with only one day remaining, how can you admire the moon over the capital? Dont stop until you reach the end, always bless your roots and always lose yourself in this evocative, emotionally barbed and poignantly dramatic piece of art.

Penfield Settings, meanwhile, closes this mesmerising EP with a strong salute to the sci-fi godfather Philip K Dick. Another nod to Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep (following Mood Organs on Diynamic), this one delicately twists our disposition dials until were in the perfect mood for a heads-down techno trip. Undulating with stern hypnosis before lightning strike fills crash and a heavenly breakdown sets our emotional dials to 11, this one is hard to come down from. Truly timeless: Musumeci continues to dig deep in every direction.

Maydan’s rise from bedroom jock to highly regarded resident is one that many have taken note of. 

Label owner at Asymmetric Dip, he’s made the successful career jump to dance music having last appeared on Sudbeat some two years ago (with Lonya) as part of the Sudbeats 3 album
and being active member of the presitigious Tel Aviv’s nightlife. 

White Gold marks his return to the label and his first full release. And so taken with the track, El Maestro himself decided to make a remix ably assisted by Tel Aviv’s favourite son, Lonya. 

The original track bristles with creative energy; crisp percussion soon making way for bright sonics and a grimy bass underbelly. 

On the remix, Hernan Cattaneo and Lonya employ a driving tribal feel using the arps and sweeps to full effect. Dancefloor carnage guaranteed!

Exclusive Sobek - Charmer (STATUE Reconstruction)

Tom Goud, better known under his STATUE moniker, follows his percussive-influenced approach as he takes on remix duties for Sobek's latest track Charmer on Chapter 24. Having released a good handful of EPs, singles and remixes on imprints such as Cin Cin, Le Temps Perdu or Future Boogie Recordings the Australian artists makes his (remix) debut on the British label, which again proves its musical understanding by signing remixes and remixers who draw the attention of different electronic music sub-scenes to the track with each approach adding value to Sobek's original take. STATUE, however, chooses a midtempo stomping and chuggling basis using the synths of the original to create an almost shamanic or trancy note that lasts for several bars and evokes a mental commitment before implementing multi-tonal chords, which break with deliberately built monotony. STATUE's reconstruction couldn't be more memorable as it touches the listener's mind and body before taking its soul. 

Sobek's EP Charmer will be released on Chapter 24 on March 13th, 2020.
