We are excited to announce the release of Penn's Landing EP on Fresh Beats Records, LSEM's official record label in London. This seventh release in our catalogue (FRBR007) comes from the very gifted William Thompson, a member of the DJ combo Desert Island Disco, known for their electrifying performances at festivals and parties, where they showcase their unique and diverse sounds.

With this EP, William takes the spotlight under his own name, delivering a distinct set of tracks that brilliantly capture his love of various musical genres. Penn's Landing EP is infused with Balearic, Classic House, and worldwide influences, creating a lush setting full of sunny vibes.

The EP opens with "Sunset Ashram," a hypnotic and soulful track that brings back memories of dazzling festival afternoons. It's a sun-soaked voyage with a mesmerising bassline, vintage rhythm textures, and luscious chords, finished off by soulful vocals.

“To Marigold” follows up. A rhythmic, Afro-inspired gem with a driving bassline, powerful vocal chops, and a synth-laden conclusion that blends global influences with infectious energy, making it perfect for early morning dance floors.

Then comes "Cala de Llucalari" with washed-out sax tones, retro 303 textures, and a dreamy, sun-soaked mood that transports you to peaceful beaches.

“Dance With Me” is his fourth track, and it’s a beam of joyful energy. Featuring classic soulful vocals and vintage piano house, this house hymn is an expertly crafted blend of nostalgia and modern aural refinement.

artúszero's remix of "Cala de Llucalari" adds depth and contrast to the original image, retaining its essence while incorporating late-90s/early-00s style and disco/breakbeat beats.

This EP is another brilliant example of how our Advanced Music Production Course fosters innovation and achievement.
