After a little break ANIMAR returns to bring you some deep house sounds to help you through this crazy times. But music will help us to get through, so it’s up to our artist SVEN KEGEL to encourage us with his DUBLIN EP.

The EP also contains a remix by Mrs. MAXIE KÖNIG, who recently released on famous labels like POKER FLAT, PLASTIC CITY as well as her homebase OHRAL. The title track of this EP called DUBLIN is a gorgeous tune which creates a wonderful, kind of melancholic atmosphere in which you can loose yourself while the beat just carries you away. 
The slow development of several sounds make this track for sure a beautiful listening experience. 

MAXIES’ interpretation instead goes into a more rhythm orientated direction. 
The original bassline get pumped up and has now a leading role, she increases the pace of the track as well which sets her audience immediately in a dancing mood. RATHGAR, like the trendy district of Dublin, includes some catchy house chords, a bold drumming section.

Precious and unexpected musical treasures could be found at the lighthouse of Form & Terra Records: The treasure chest "Treasures" contains new versions of our previously released vinyl records.

The first find comes from Mar io's studio and is reissuing Cie's first publication on Form & Terra Records. "Auf Los" shines in a new guise and suddenly comes across as shimmering trance. The track reflects the atmosphere and warmth of the original by Cie from his eponymous EP and goes beyond genre boundaries.

An incredibly groovy acid pearl is waiting for the treasure hunter immediately afterwards. Zweig puts his unmistakable signature on Mar io's "We're Living For" with the remix. Turn fog and strobe on!

Since the treasure chest contains a number of pearls, a new version of "Through the Night" should not be missing, which is fittingly contributed by Mar io himself. Here, a groovy Acid House baseline combines with familiar elements from the original to create a sizzling mixture that could hardly taste better.

Peter F. Spiess has also created a new version and has mixed a good portion of dub into the oats of his "Celluloid Pony". He rides far into unimagined worlds and does not forget his strikingly minimal melodies, which made the original from the record "Get Together" (formnterra003) so successful.

A very deep remix of Prakash's "Numbers Talk" by Maxie König sparkles at the treasure hunter as a final treasure. The track has a strong unique groove and the chords and strings of the original, which is also released on the vinyl "Get Together", are placed in a pulsating new context.

Five wonderful tracks for all treasure hunters eager to discover on the dance floor.

PREMIERE : Prakash - Numbers Talk (Maxie König Remix) - [Form&Terra Records]

Maxie König released on imprints such as Pokerflat, Plastic City, Plastic Suburbia as well as her homebase Ohral Recordings some remarkable tunes within the last year - most of them also gained some serious chart action.

Now she teams up again with Alex Connors who s also part of the "ohral community". Also he had within the last year some releases which went down really well.

Within the last year Maxie & Alex already worked together a few times in the studio and invented - for example - the techno project "Arpatec". Productions of Arpatec had been released so far by legendary "Harthouse Records" as well as "Evosonic Rec." and "Ohral" again.

This time those both very talented guys digged deeper and produced some serious deep house tunes which will elevate your mind, your body and your soul.

Here you'll listen to the  track "Fireflies" which is part of their upcoming EP called "Blackbird". This track defeinetly will keep you immediately moving with it´s presticious baseline and some floating but indefinite harmonies. The combination of those ingredients will let your senses flow and free your mind .

About:
After the successful vinyl release "Adventures" by Cie, six musical companions embark on a
journey, to find the places described by Cie and to rediscover them in their very own way.
Maxie König is the first to start and is reconstructing the "Löwenburg" into a wonderful, deep
groove cathedral, the foundation of which consists of a powerful bass on which wonderful chords
spiral upwards. The foundation is then properly checked for stability when Mar io presents his
captivating and driving version of "Bergfried". Refined with his unmistakable handwriting, you are
drawn in as if in a suction and cannot escape. There is only the way out deeper into the "Stollen" of
Chris Maico Schmidt. Here you can experience percussive fireworks, the catchy melody of which
lingers for a long time in the winding corridors of the gallery. Pyrococcus picks up these melodies
and returns to the "Löwenburg" with a pounding base drum and creates access to unknown spaces
with its novel composition. Here M.Sylvia waits and returns to the driving origin of the "Bergfried".
The brickwork here looks raw, dry, dusty and technoid, just as it should be at a late hour. At the end
it goes deep into the "Stollen" again, where Tim Susa takes us into deep, ramified chord corridors.
Six wonderful tracks ready for any adventure.

Hi! This is Ribozomi and welcome along to another edition of Amazing trip Session. The place where the stars shine brighter. Honestly I am super excited about this episode because of one of my recent favourite artists is here with a special guest mix for all of us.
She is comming from Germany and her passion for mussic emerged in the late 90ties, when she started to DJ in a small Club in her hometown in southwest Germany. Not much later she met the technopioneer Hardy Heller and has since become part of the "Ohral" crew . She played alongside Big names like Monika Kruse or Gayle San, Bart Skills, Extrawelt, Nick Curly, Gorge, Egbert just to name a few. She produced tracks for labels such Evosonic Records, From&Terra and of course her most favourite home-label Ohral Recordings.
This is Maxie König ladies and gentlemen with a special delivery of good stuff for Amazing Trip Session.

- Where were you born and raised?

I was born in East Germany and moved to Western Germany before the former GDR ended. Now i live nearby Heidelberg in the beautiful Palatine. The Area is best known for Wine, lots of sunny hours and Parties.

- Describe your music journey with few statements. How everything started and how you ended up to electronic music. Which factors shaped your music taste?

Already when I was young I dreamed about becoming a DJ because i loved music so much. So I started spinning Vinyl at al local Dancing School and not much later at a Club in my hometown. There I also met the Techno Pioneer Hardy Heller around 2000. We fastly became friends and he invited me to play at his Parties. On these Parties called „Ohral" (which is a play of words because „Ohr“ is german for Ear) I played alongside Big Names like Monika Kruse or Gayle San, Bart Skills, Extrawelt, Nick Curly, Gorge, Egbert just to name a few. The style and tempo of my sets vary according to the crowd, this means, that I also love playing technosets, too. Many years later I was able to afford a copy of Ableton and startet to produce my own music, mostly deep house, but with my friend Alex Conners, with whom I wrote Fireflies, I also have a Techno Project called "Arpatec". I also present a biweekly radio show on a webstation called Evosonic Records.

- What can we expect from your mix?

In my Set for Amazing Trip Session you can expect a deep and smooth mix of music I actually like to listen to. Featuring Producers like Berlin based Namito, my latest Remix for Cie, Gorge, my friends Hardy Heller and Alex Connors or amazing Qiron.

Maxie König released her first ever music production some one and a half years
ago on deep house flagship „Plastic City“ with remarkable sucess. Next her
remix for „Tim Engelhardt - First Contact“ got released by another high profiled
label - „Poker Flat Recordings“ - before she finally released her first EP on her
homebase „Ohral“.

Since then several, quiet diverse releases, remixes have been published on a
regular base by this very talented Djane on different imprints such as
„Form&Terra“, „Evosonic“, „Animar“ and of course constantly also on „Ohral“.
Now she returns with „Holding On To A Lovers Dream“ to „Ohral Recordings“.
The Original is kind of a consistantly stomping deep house track and as kind 
of a „trademark you will hear also in this track the voice of Maxie König
herself whispering a few phrases. 

None other than deep house legend „Markus Homm“ worked on an
interpretation of this track and contriubuted a fabulous cozy deep and techy
remix to this EP as well as „Mar io“ from the „Form & Terra“ Crew did a great 
remix job, going down the techno road with Maxies tune. 
So you´ll get some serious and also quiet divsre deep house related beats

Behind the scenes at "Ohral" Maxie König, Alex Connors & Hardy Heller are without any doubt kind of the driving forces. All three have released within the last 1,5 years several tracks on "Ohral" as well as on other imprints. Their tracks got support from international highly respected artists like "John Digweed", "Steve Bug", "Gorge" and so on; beside of continuously entering specific genre- and dj-charts.

As the name of the EP more or less announces. The 3 tracks are quiet diverse. The opening track "Maxie König - Love Is A Battlefield" is a promising deep electronica masterpiece, a musical journey containing break beats and a dark howling bass, a track to get lost, a track you should have a brief listen to. "Mi Tu" by "Alex Connors & Hardy Heller" is in contrast to that a "4 to the floor" track. An always forward pushing percussion section is garnished here with some fluffy elements like flying around vocals, glittering synth lines. While Track 3 takes a closer look at vocal talent "Charlo".

QuiQui - Vikasita (Arpatec Remix)

#Vikasita is the name of the new coming out EP from the Amsterdam based DJ and Producer QuiQui on Ametist Records and includes 3 originals and one remix from the german duo Arpatec.

#QuiQui has been making and playing music since 1999. In the past years, he has released on labels such as Tulipa Recordings, Cinematique, Manual Music, Sneakerz and ADRO. His tracks have been played by the likes of Secret Cinema, Eelke Kleijn, Marc Depulse and Gai Barone. His productions share a love for warm, energetic and hypnotic synthesizers.

#Arpatec is the  new musical cooperation between 
Alex Connors & Maxie König. Both are part and residents of the
Event & Label Crew Ohral, well known for there serious events in the south of germany in fantastic locations.

The second release in Poker Flat’s remix competition, celebrating 20 years of the label. This time, we get three stellar versions of Tim Engelhardt’s First Contact, which has been making waves since it first dropped in March of this year.

First up is the Okayshades Remix, brought to you by Robin Brink from Cape Town, South Africa. Brink’s signature sound is a mix of house, techno and down-tempo, and here he finds an elegant balance between firing up a dancefloor and making a thoughtful, emotional rework.

Next up is the Jacme remix, courtesy of Christophe Robert from Toulouse, France. Jacme started creating his own music in 2001, and has recently been collaborating with the likes of Connaisseur Recordings, AEON, Suah, and Outer Space Oasis. His rework is a classy, synth heavy refix, with a driving, restless vibe.

Next up Maxie König brings her considerable talents to the table with a sublime remix. Hailing from the Rhine-Neckar region, Maxie got her first residency at the age of 18, and had gone on from strength to strength since then. Her rework is a moody, deep version with elegant touches - sure to do the damage on the floor.

"Maxie Koenig" is the grande dame of "Ohral" who created with her first releases already quiet a buzz. Her EP "News Of Radio Brest", released on "Plastic City Suburbia" achieved some fine chart reaction, for example #7 beatport deep house charts. as well as it got played by some very well known Djs like "Tony McGuiness", head of "Anjuna" and one part of "Above & Beyond". The remix she did for "Tim Engelhardt - First Contact" on highly respected "Poker Flat" imprint caused even more damage. Chart reactions also here and plays by for example living legend "John Digweed".

Now her first release on "Ohral Recordings". The "Riptide" EP on which she shows for the first time her wide musical range. While "Mermaid" is a a more relaxed, vibrant deep house track "Riptide" has a much more danceable approach and will put you immediately in a dancing mood. With "Destination" she shares with you her passion for real techno music and last but not least will leave you in peace with this downbeat beauty called "Caramoan".
