MAXIM's latest release utilises sonic influence across all things Trance and Techno. 

The A-side 'Defcon 1' attacks the listener with an aggressive attitude and a dystopian sound pallette, inciting a feeling of energised dread. Ever-evolving synth lines and pulsating drum grooves drive the dancefloor forward, leading the listener through unexpected twists and turns. 

The B side 'I am Sitting in a Room' remains unrelenting, but takes a more percussion-driven approach. Excited and saturated bongo patterns are what drives the movement on the dancefloor, making this track a DJ tool that can be fused into most 4x4 orientated sets.

A fast paced, stomping new EP with tracks exceeding 140 beats per minute. Not the easy listening or laid-back tracks! This EP is designed to get you moving on the dance floor.  taking influences from 90's Techno and trance tracks and remodelling them into new original music.

The 'There's Grime in my Garage' EP does what it says on the track. Track 1 of the EP combines elements of old-school grime synths and famous vocal samples from the 2000s with 2 stepping Garage Rhythms. These two genres have heavily influenced eachother over decades and the fusion of staple elements from each are what give 'There's Grime In My Garage' its identifiably UK sound.

Track 2 'ÇD Burner' again uses elements of 2000's grime but instead takes the user out for an Electro spin. Rib cage-rattling sub's and kicks dance with each other whilst boisterous basslines are constantly evolving. Again a grime vocal hook is thrown in to add final touches to the track.

Dropping bombs is something that should be left to individuals with the necessary skills, and it is safe to say MAXIM has some expertise in this area. Starting his career as a producer 7 years ago, MAXIM now play’s at venues up and down the country for his own Club Night First Contact and other collectives. 

MAXIM’s mixing style doesn’t conform to genre which is why he supports a variety of DJ’s such as Shlomo, James Ruskin and X-Club, keeping groove and creating progression in his sets.

With that being said, MAXIM’s productions are recognised for their hard groove aesthetic often leaning towards the Trance Techno Genre. MAXIM’s productions have been getting support from around the globe even as far as Colombia with his release 'Ilusion' on TnR Records and his latest Vinyl Release on Laburnūm Records. Other artists who have supported MAXIM's music are DJ Spit, SPF.DJ, Sara Landry, Future.666, Bailey Ibbs and more.
