Oh what a journey happend here over the last week..? I always dreamt of a place in Festivals where slow music is appreciated next to all the ecstatic nightstages where Hi-Hats hunt you all night long.. Being trusted by the Skalar-Team to co-create this Downtempo-Place at a Festival where so many friends and creative beings are involved is already special, so co-creating the momets in the early morning hours there on saturday with loved beings made the past days unforgettable for me. It’s a pleasure to share this flowy trip from nightride into sunrise here for the memories. Tears ran down my face as I played.
It was my first time performing at Fusion Festival—my music, my medicine—since surviving cancer and the surgery.
And only there, in the middle of that wild, beautiful chaos, did I fully realize the depth of what I’ve been through.
Fusion wasn’t just a festival for me.
It was a threshold. A mirror. A fire. A moment of release.
To stand there—unable to speak—but still be heard through the beats, the pauses, the glances, the dance... it broke me open.
Not speaking has challenged me to the core. 
But it’s also made space for something else.
A different kind of presence.
A different kind of listening.
A different kind of offering.
For me, music isn’t about relentless rhythm.
It’s about creating a space to feel. To weave a journey.
The silence before the beat can hold more than the beat itself.
I want my sets to confront. To pause. To let people feel that music can be medicine.
Strangers and friends with tears in their eyes hugged me—
not just because I played, but because I was there.
Alive.
That touched me beyond words.

In the heart of Neukölln, where concrete met cosmos and the city never truly slept, Johann Bello rose with the dawn—not because he had to, but because sound waited for him.

By day, he moved like a shadow through the world—quiet, observant, often barefoot in his studio, where dust from last night's forest rave still clung to his sleeves. By night, he became a cartographer of feeling, etching emotional maps into waveforms with tempo as slow as memory and melodies that whispered like leaves in twilight.

They called it Schneckno—a genre born half-jokingly at a lakeside jam, now adopted seriously by dancers who preferred to sway rather than stomp. Johann didn’t invent the word, but he gave it rhythm, pulse, and purpose. His sets weren’t just music—they were invitations to breathe slower, feel deeper, and return to the human pace.
