Super Hero

This little piece was inspired by the story of Lorelei, the mysterious rock on the Rhine in Germany. Sitting on the cliff above the Rhine, a beautiful mermaid combs her golden hair and sings a lonely song. 
She distracts shipmen with her beauty and song, causing them to crash on the rocks.
For my composition I used extractions from Hans Zimmer's stems: the percussion, the piano and the vocals.
All single choir voices around Hans Zimmer's vocal stem were performed by Ms. Sibylle Weidemueller who created this special vocal sound for my composition.

Long Time Ago (2009)

Daniel Porter ist Auftragskiller und überlässt nichts dem Zufall. Doch als er auf einen Warlord im Osten des Kongo angesetzt wird kommt er stets einen Schritt zu spät und sieht sich in der Stadt Goma mit verhängnisvollen Ereignissen konfrontiert. Ehe er richtig begreift wird er vom Jäger zum Gejagten und tappt in eine mörderische Falle, aus der es scheinbar kein Entkommen gibt.

Unterdessen fühlt sich der eigenbrötlerische Detective Henry Miles in Boston vor den Kopf gestoßen, als man ihm einen jungen Partner zuteilt, der frisch von der Akademie kommt. Doch spätestens als den beiden nach einer zermürbenden Geiselnahme eine Frau vor das Auto läuft ist Miles froh über den Neuen an seiner Seite. Das Unfallopfer führt die beiden Polizisten auf die Spur eines beispiellosen Gewaltverbrechens, das unmittelbar mit dem Geschehen in Afrika zusammenzuhängen scheint.

With a huge span of influences ranging from metal, future garage, retrowave, prog, classical and various game and film soundtracks, their music embraces the sounds of electronica, but with textures and layers inspired by the whole musical spectrum.
