From my Album "Selected Chillwave Works Volume 1"  (On Bandcamp & Spotify) )This synthwave, chillwave, electronic genre track in based on a news article about a Japanese man having a digital holographic girlfriend that talks to him using AI, that was simply the inspiration. other than that I wanted the track to sound really good and listenable. It is an incredibly complex track below the surface as I wanted to make something as original as possible that would sound great in 100 years too. Remastered this recently, because I've learned a lot more about how to master my tracks, and this is by far my most popular track.  
I knew it was gonna be awesome the minute I sat down and wrote in that melody.  I'm still trying to figure out the process that led to its creation.  I think its the span of the octave from start to finish, its quite different by the end of the phrase, so it provides enough movement in the track to carry it.

I'm a nerd at heart, and that I think is at the center of my approach to producing music, and all radiates outward from there.  I try to imbue each track with something I love, be it from culture, personal experiences, people and friends that have made an impact on my life, I find if I do this that it helps anchor the song to whats closest to my heart, and form the overall theme of the song, and my albums and their various artwork that I release along with them..
Synth intstruments hold a special place in nostalgia for me, feelings I had when much younger, so i've found that synthwave is a great jumping off point for what my music sounds like, it's not REALLY synthwave, I carry on in my style another thing important to me, and thats just electronic music in general, I love hard kicks, sidechain compression keeps those kicks pumping up the energy.
