MDRNTY RECORDS is a label delivered by Modernity Events, a series of electronic music events offering an unparalleled clubbing experience in special contexts and in stunning natural settings. MDRNTY is organized as an ephemeral daytime club installed in a transparent tent in various locations across Switzerland. Showcasing the finest contemporary electronic music.

A decade of experience has put us at the forefront of the electronic music festivals in Europe and has helped us establish strong relationships with some of the most respected producers and djs on the scene.

Over 10 years we host our famous podcast series. Which started as an small idea of some Afterhour nerds developed over the years to something special for us ♥️

In the beginning, we focused on finding and supporting (un)known artists through blog posts, reposts and podcast contributions. Gradually, we expanded our sections to include live recordings and premieres. In-house releases and events were not long in coming.

Originating from ancient Greek, Mousikē is the union of 3 things; words with or without meaning, physical moves that we call dance and the evolution of music.

Rising from the land of muses, Anatolia; Mousikē started as a Soundcloud page & private parties in Istanbul. Now it turned into a series of musical gatherings all around the world, which ended up as a vibrant community with a great variety of colours and tastes.

With launch of Mousikē Records, roots of our young tree are expanding to various channels and music platforms to grow & give more goods to wider community; and eventually die and decompose to its core elements which will become life & inspiration to other livings in the universe.
