Dekoshe is an electronical music project and has been existing since 2003 with the current cast. We, Phexton and DL Truncator, have played electronical music since the 90s. The musical style, which lead us together, is multi-layered and fairly unique.

Before Dekoshe's formation we'd already been involved into many musical projects and bands. We’re inspired by the minimal-electronic and new wave scene of the 80s, up to more actual and more technoid or experimental music. Our music reflects our passion, we're used to say.

Kat Austen's work conveys the wild and visceral connectedness of humans to the other(s). Her installations and performances are beautiful yet challenging, confronting the dark edges of humanity while highlighting our shared experience and knowledge.

Working across disciplines and media forms, Austen critically focuses on the most pressing environmental and social justice challenges of our times, combining cutting-edge technologies with embodied and analogue techniques to elevate the wonder of the everyday.

Focusing on recovery, remediation and diversity, Austen's softly forceful artworks communicate emotional and intellectual relations to sublimate subjectivity and cultivate space for more-than-human perspectives.

Austen’s prize-winning work has exhibited at Venice Biennale, Changwon Sculpture Biennale, Jeju Museum of Art, V&A Museum, Phillips Auction House, Bonhams Art Gallery, The Polar Museum, Contemporary Museum, Wrocław,  Prater Galerie,  LABoral, Bozar Centre for Fine Arts, Belgium among others, and her work is held internationally in public and private collections. She has performed around the globe, including at KIAF, Opera North, UK; BALTIC, UK; Fusion Festival, DE; Ars Electronica Festival, AT and Headlands Center for the Arts, US.
