Quickie from us: "The Thing about Foxes is we Love her... Her vocals are beautiful and effortless and carry such a nice emotional sense of gravity. Its why we think her vocals always do so well with dance music. Holding onto Heaven was definitely a fun challenge for us to remix. The original is very far from a dance track and we wanted to think out of the box and do something unusual with the vocal. Additionally there were so many cinematic parts to the song to use particularly the string. In our remix you will here some vocal transposing that we think adds this very strange but unique edge that cuts through. That paired with our melody and the strong we think we came out with a very dynamic song thats in a constant flux of feeling."

Foxes - Holding On To Heaven (The Chainsmokers Remix)

With the next Toi Toi takeover for Room Three just a few sleeps away, today we're feeling privileged to be able to present a new and exclusive mix from a key member of the crew, Audio Werner.

This is a bit of a coup for us; the promo mix we're presenting today from Werner is a very rare thing indeed. To date the Hartchef Discos founder has only has only released two other podcasts on the spindled servers of the interweb over the last five years so, for us at least, this 60 minute selection carries an extra bit of weight of significance. Perhaps best known for his live sets over recent years (a craft that he is pretty advanced at as evident in his <a href="http://www.fabriclondon.com/blog/view/toi-toi-takeover-audio-werners-equipment-guide" target="_blank">equipment guide</a> from 2013), Audio Werner has actually been very much a prolific record collector and DJ since the ‘90s wielding a historical knowledge of four four cuts that he calls upon each time he takes to the decks. 

Right from the opening track this mix provides a listening experience that is at once engaging and yet frenetically playful. It's a pretty exciting pre-cursor to show exactly the kind of dancefloor experience Werner will be bringing alongside his Toi Toi cohorts Voigtmann, Lamache and Andrew J Gustav this coming weekend...

Now, having recently relocated from New York to Los Angeles, the sounds of MANIK can be found in the crates of the worlds leading underground DJs and tastemakers; Ellen Allien, Josh Wink, Steve Lawler, Doc Martin, Steve Bug, Heidi and many more. With a full album coming in 2017, plus new EP's on VIVa Music and BPitch Control, there are no signs of slowing down.

Phon.o's heart as his mind feel most drawn to the bricolage. Conjuring his very own melange with sounds taken from hip hop, dub, baltimore, house, dubstep and techno Phon.o is known for his exstatic live and DJ-sets.

With realeases and collaborations on highly praised outlets like Boysnoize Records, Bpitch Control and most recently Tectonic and 50WEAPONS where he also released his seminal album "Black Boulder", he´s beem priviliged to work with some of electronic music greatest afficionados: Modeselektor, Funkstörung, Mixhell, Apparat, Sinkane you name them. Continuously working on advancing his sound even more Phon.o has been invited to show his skills in worldwide workshops by some of the worlds leading companies in music software, Native Instruments and Ableton and also regularly contributes to their products with crafted sounds of his own making.

He is currently finishing the follow up to his brilliant stripped down UK club EP "Afterglow" for Pinch´s legendary label Tectonic. In summer of 2016 Phon.o released another EP "Fractions" for Bpitch Control for those of his fans hailing the 4/4 edge of his groove. Here, Phon.o provides 60 minutes of eclectic grooves as only he can.

Over the past two decades, Milk & Sugar Recordings has continued to supply dance floors with a steady stream of powerful productions, delivered by some of the most influential artists of House music history including David Morales, Todd Terry, Tim Deluxe, Gianni Bini & Paolo Martini, Jamie Lewis or Tiefschwarz to mention just a few. Not forgetting productions by a whole new squad of the freshest talent such as Mat.Joe, Dario D ́Attis, Kruse & Nuernberg, Kolombo, Doorly or Nora En Pure who are carrying the imprint’s catalogue to the attention of today’s generation of electronic music lovers.

For Milk & Sugar Recordings’ 200th release the label’s core artists Milk & Sugar, Yves Murasca, Ben Delay, Lissat & Voltaxx, Dry & Bolinger and Oriano have joined forces to create an “Anniversary EP”, consisting of seven super fresh and exclusive club bombs, showcasing the diversity and production quality of artists and releases throughout the label.

Dutch Tech House Hero Rene Amesz turns on the shuffling hats and presents a dark and stripped back remix of Milk & Sugar’s hit record “Ready Or Not” whilst German House head Yves Murasca, recently impressive with his “Hypnotize EP” on Kittball Records, brings you “Underground People”, an Original track that succeeds in balancing a reliable bass foundation with an ever trippy spoken vocal hook.

Lissat & Voltaxx’s addition to the package is an exclusive Re-work of their Tech House milestone “Sunken Bells of Ibiza”, where heady bells form the track’s exceptional atmosphere and make us dream of the sundrenched parties around the Mediterranean. 

Next up is one of the most consistent house producers Ben Delay. Over the last years he has become the label’s secret weapon and again he has not disappointed. He even submits two outstanding productions for Release Nr. 200: first up a bassy reinterpretation in his signature style for the label’s vocal classic “Love & Tears” by Aquarian Dreams. Then Ben comes with his original production “My Game”, a more experimental creation with broody vocal and driving Acid synth.

Munich based producer Oriano has been a strong player in the Milk & Sugar Recordings team for the last two years and contributes with his original track “Choke” embodying heavy bass, dusky vocals and moody synth pads. Then Dry & Bolinger are closing act on the EP with their house hymn “Got Back” which is taking them straight back to their roots of classic old school flavored house.
