Thom Yorke - The Clock (Max Lane Edit)

A 3-song preview of an upcoming album, Bunyian Sajak (Sounds of Poetry); a body of work where the world of prose and poetry, written and read by one Max Lane (Dr. Maxwell Lane), meets the musical realm composed and produced by another Max Lane (Safuan Johari). This project welds their individual and personal impressions of the region in a collection of 14 aural vignettes.

The selected poems are taken from Dr. Lane's book, INDONESIA AND NOT: POEMS AND OTHERWISE. These 3 songs were presented at the Singapore Writers Festival 2016 in conjunction with the book launch.

BIP6: No Spy So Fly

Not to be mistaken for the retired NFL player and more inspired by the academic/writer of the same name, Max Lane sets out to twists found sounds and electronic elements within broody beatscapes. Other than getting his music signed by labels in the US and Europe, Max Lane has produced works for and alongside visual artists, performers and commercial brands. As a performer he has been on festival stages, club consoles, art exhibitions and even a window display. What comes next is still unsure but what’s for sure is his commitment to experimentation.
