Grup Şimşek is a fresh and modern super-quintet which performs an electrified and highly danceable set of Turkish music. It combines Anatolian Folk and modern grooves, often contaminated by hints of Psychedelia, Jazz and Funk. 
Led by Derya Yıldırım’s hypnotizing Saz and vocals, Grup Şimşek deliver their own interpretation of Turkish jewels (by artists such as Selda Bağcan, Barış Manço, Özdemir Erdoğan), but also draw their originality from beautiful compositions and a fantastic ability in improvising.

Zul Mahmod (b. 1975) is one of Singapore’s leading sound artists. ZUL has been at the forefront of a generation of sound-media artists in Singapore’s contemporary art development – one of the genres of international contemporary art-making that has been garnering interest for its inter-disciplinary approach and experimental edge. ZUL represented Singapore with a Sound Art Performance at the Ogaki Biennale in 2006, and was Singapore’s first sound artist with a full-on sound sculpture at the Singapore Pavilion of the 52nd Venice Biennale 2007. An Associate Artist at the alternative art space The Substation, ZUL has cut a reputation for integrating 3-D forms with ‘sound constructions’ and ‘sound-scapes’, often crossing genres and collaborating with other artists.

Masterpiece is a soul singer, producer, promoter & DJ in Singapore. Masterpiece is part of the Pushin'On crew that runs Pushin'On, Singapore's only funk night and longest running independent night.

He is also the bandleader of the the Mighty Mighty, the house band for Pushin'On. The Mighty Mighty is a 9-piece lineup in the tradition of the JBs and Quantic Soul Orchestra; and focuses on funk and soul for the dancefloor.

Not to be mistaken for the retired NFL player and more inspired by the academic/writer of the same name, Max Lane sets out to twists found sounds and electronic elements within broody beatscapes. Other than getting his music signed by labels in the US and Europe, Max Lane has produced works for and alongside visual artists, performers and commercial brands. As a performer he has been on festival stages, club consoles, art exhibitions and even a window display. What comes next is still unsure but what’s for sure is his commitment to experimentation.

After years of meddling in electronic music, Safuan Johari has went on to establish himself as a music producer, sound-designer & performer. As a sound-designer, Safuan has worked on scoring and designing various multimedia art installations and performance-based pieces. This includes a range of commissioned projects for Singapore Fringe Festival, National Museum of Singapore, Beijing Fashion Week and many more. Sometimes he produces as Max Lane and Safuan is also part of visual arts/sound outfit, NADA; art-rock band, Tiramisu; and the founding member of audio-visual collective, Syndicate.
