The highly esteemed Irish duo Zero T & Beta 2 are back on Metalheadz with the 'Exiles EP' - a true, modern-day reproduction of the vintage Metalheadz sound that cemented the labels roots 25 years ago.

Comprising of 6 tracks on the full release, the EP can at times destroy dancefloors with the likes of 'Exiles' and 'Dead Cert', whilst the richly enchanting tones of 'Misdemeanour' and 'Altered Destiny' swiftly serenade the listener at every opportunity. This is a true epitomisation of the definition of a complete package and one that has so far had a strong response from the duo’s peers and heroes within the scene, with a call from Dillinja to Goldie justifiably being the icing on the cake.

York based Aperio joins forces Low:r for the next instalment on Ram’s sister-label Program, this now being his third outing on the imprint. Having also made an appearance on the 2020 Ram Records Drum & bass Annual, Aperio has been a frequent face amongst the array of talent which appears throughout Program’s extensive release schedule.

For this next single they pull together their individual geniuses and offer two fresh new perspectives on the Program moniker. ‘Perspectives’ is a rolling riddim with clever drum work and searing vocal patches, meanwhile 'Lost Souls’ draws for plucked strings which build into swooping layers of melody. So once again, it’s time to get with the Program. Opening the door to the summer months from the comfort of your speakers.

Soul Deep Digital and Marcus Tee are proud to announce the release of the “Take A Look Around EP.”  You might know the Nottingham based producer from his solid releases on Influenza, 4 Corners, and Complex Records.  This time he drops his impressive debut EP on Soul Deep.  The laid back vibes of “Take A Look Around,” kicks things off, featuring fluttering keys, snappy drums and soothing rhodes chords.  The track takes an unexpected turn at the drop and unleashes an undeniable dancefloor groove.  “A Place Where I Belong,” is up next and features sultry Rhodes keys, soulful female vocals, and some popping drums that provide the perfect punch to the track.  “Next To Me,” is up next and is highlighted by it’s smooth Rhodes chords, deep sub bassline, and echoing efx.  “Transition Sequence,” rounds out the EP is style with it’s smooth pads, analog mid bass sounds, and rolling drums that anchor things down.  Overall, Marcus Tee paints a picture of where he’s going with his production style, creating his own place where he belongs.

Addictive’s next release come’s straight out of the Drum & Bass epicentre of Bristol, from the talented production mind of Modu A name that has been reverberating throughout the South West D&B hub and beyond for some time now having released on a myriad of labels including Lost, Delta 9, Horizons, Celsius and many more. But it was his collaboration with Xanadu on Dom & Roland that first pricked the ears of Addictive Behaviour back in 2015, which led to Modu firing out tracks on numerous compilation LPs with the label over the years. 

Now he is back with a debut EP on the imprint delivering some of his strongest work yet. Usually famed for his harder edged, techy production, but for this EP Modu returns to his roots firing out some original soulful liquid, teasing in beautiful vox stabs and deep subby flows. There’s also some incredible jungle drum work with choppy amen breaks in ‘Music’s Prayer’ and some out and out filth in ‘Gorgon Project’, showing that Modu is by no means a one trick pony.

Modu’s passion for production began with these melodic soulful vibes and it’s great to see the producer return to this style, following on from his free giveaway track ‘Flashing Gold’ at the beginning of the year and now unleashing ‘The Gorgon Project’.

Flowrian takes his engineering to another level for his release on Soul Deep, blending sounds together to create a perfectly crafted and musical soundscape.  The title track, “Granite & Dandelions,” leads things off with it’s meticulously edited breaks, knocking percussion, squelching mid baselines, and haunting vocal samples.  The second track, “Edward the Hamster,” Is up next and features snappy drums, a laid back sub bassline, and sharp mid bass embellishments that add layers and textures to the song.  The elements create the perfect backdrop for the deep pads, and beautiful melodies that help accentuate the overall vibe of the tune.
