This time he drops his impressive debut EP on Soul Deep.  The laid back vibes of “Take A Look Around,” kicks things off, featuring fluttering keys, snappy drums and soothing rhodes chords.  The track takes an unexpected turn at the drop and unleashes an undeniable dancefloor groove.  “A Place Where I Belong,” is up next and features sultry Rhodes keys, soulful female vocals, and some popping drums that provide the perfect punch to the track.  “Next To Me,” is up next and is highlighted by it’s smooth Rhodes chords, deep sub bassline, and echoing efx.  “Transition Sequence,” rounds out the EP is style with it’s smooth pads, analog mid bass sounds, and rolling drums that anchor things down.  Overall, Marcus Tee paints a picture of where he’s going with his production style, creating his own place where he belongs.
