Mene Savasta Alsina es música, artista sonora, investigadora y profesora en historia del arte. 
Nació en Mar del Plata y creció entre parlantes y perillas. Actualmente vive en Buenos Aires, donde laboratorea para producir sus obras sonoras y participar de proyectos con otros artistas, como Marder, Operadora, El Tronador y r353.
Desde que era chica la música y el sonido fueron para ella formas esenciales de comunicación. El teclado fue su primer instrumento, más tarde se puso a cantar y con el tiempo empezó a hacer sonar todo lo que tenía alrededor, ya fuera electrónico o no. Su papá era sonidista y su mamá arquitecta y melómana. En el fondo de su casa estaba el taller donde se fabricaban equipos. Ella se divertía pasando el rato entre los circuitos, los instrumentos de medición, parlantes y micrófonos. Algo fue aprendiendo de todo eso. 
Cuando eligió la carrera universitaria, se fue a estudiar Bellas Artes a La Plata. Allá terminó la carrera de Historia del Arte y cursó una buena parte de Artes Plásticas. Supone que de esa formación interdisciplinaria surge su aproximación al arte, que la posiciona como compositora, intérprete y realizadora, atenta al fenómeno de la sinestesia y la indivisibilidad del tiempo y el espacio.
