This episode hits close to home, not just because of the music, but because of the story behind it and the artist at the heart of it. This one means a lot to us. As a label that’s been growing for just over five years now, there are certain artists who’ve shaped our journey long before we even knew we’d start one. DJ Caspa @tundecas41 is one of those djs. We’ve been listening to his sets for more than a decade, long before the idea of launching this podcast series was even a thought. And if there’s one thing that’s stayed consistent all these years, it’s the sheer quality of what he delivers. But Caspa’s story runs even deeper. He picked up mixing at around the young age of 16, and from that moment on, music became a life path. Growing up during the acid house and Balearic era, the spark was lit early. His first love was Jungle Music and like any true selector, his vinyl collection exploded fast. He chased fresh sounds relentlessly, from early radio sessions in the '90s on stations like Weekend Rush, Pressure FM, Rinse FM, Unknown FM, Deja Vu, and Magic FM, all the way through to building one of the most respected Sunday shows on Rinse FM itself. Caspa lived through multiple waves of dance music, growing to a seasoned club DJ. He’s played up and down the UK and regularly traveled abroad. The sound on this podcast is 100% unreleased music from his friends in the scene. In addition to his club and radio legacy, DJ Caspa also curates his own acclaimed podcast series Upfront & Personal, known for hosting high-calibre guests such as Chris Stussy, Mr G, Djoko, Josh Butler, Anotr, Sidney Charles, Larry da Kat and many more. Lost Dream

Lost Dream (Skysia Remix)

Max Maxwell has been quietly making noise in the New Zealand music scene since everything smelled like Teen Spirit.  

Running the aural gamut from downbeat to progressive, Max borrows dancefloor elements, dubs them out with chunky bass lines, and adds a sprinkle of melodic electronica tempered with sonorous vocals to create a rich patina of soundscapes which is at once dynamic and uplifting; reflective and deep.

Inspired by the lush landscapes of Aotearoa (New Zealand), Nomadic is the artistic expression of producer and DJ Josh Waay.

Best known for fusing world-music with bass-heavy dance beats, his sound continues to evolve, refusing to be confined by genre. His songs invite listeners on a surreal journey, blending traditional instruments with contemporary electronic sound design in order to create music that feels both organic and otherworldly.

His debut album ‘Wandering Mind’, released via US label Jumpsuit Records, helping him build an international following and elevate his live sets. He followed this with several prominent releases, including the ambient album ‘Ennui’ and collaborations with renowned artists such as Ayla Nereo, Skysia, Scott Nice, and Yemanjo.

After a few years away from touring, Josh returns to the fray — ready to light up the dancefloors once again with his eclectic DJ sets.
