Lynxpoint Studio is part of the twisted world of Joseph A. Ruel. Music player and composer since the age of 5, Joseph A. produced countless tracks in the last 25 years on his way to master sound and harmony. After studying  classic and jazz, he moved to Montreal, Electro-city, to graduate in sound engineering. electroacoustics, acoustic mathematics and ethnomusicology. He then founded Lynxpoint Studio(2006) and worked as a freelancer in video games, movies and publicity 'till now. 

During this time, he got highly exposed to techno and psytrance, but for some reason his brain hadn't mutated just yet, simply absorbing tempos for many years to come. It is only in 2011, when he landed on Goa's beach that he finally got striked by the roots of trance and got to produce electronic music. Sitting with Goa's Pirates and producing 15 hours/day for 7 weeks, he came back home with 2h of live set and sun rays. Now a days, each new track he creates has its specific style, touch and soul. His melodies are a psychedelic travels in a strange world where anything can happen. Every emotion interlaces to end up striking onto the floor through your feet as the tempo gets faster and faster. Lynxpoint teached music production, sound synthesis, creative recording and workflow @ DJ school Montreal for couple years, were he also started the DIY Analog Synth Montréal group. He is also leader of the Interactive Media Crew for Open Mind Festivals, were he design automated music instruments and interactive music setups. He is on the verge of releasing his first electronic album with the help of a bunch of highly skilled musicians around Montréal. 

With experience spanning 10 years and with two highly awarded degrees, Luné (aka. Ben Weatherill) has seen the completion of over 600 recording projects and over 50 composition projects including over 20 short films and 2 games.

Gaining substantial press attention with one of his latest compositions and productions ‘Morph for Two Saxophones & Reverb’ which Sound On Sound, Audient and various other audio companies shared across the globe, Ben is striving to create music that is not only engaging and familiar, but new! Ben has also received tuition and master classes from some of the worlds best, including The Beatles mixing legend Ken Scott, ELOs Jeff Lynne, Take That & ELO musical director, Mike Stevens, and Sony mastering engineer David Mitson.
