An artist who truly pushes the boundaries with the tracks he produces and the mixes he puts together. 'ecotone' captures his essence of Far Blue, crafted entirely from his own creations.

"an ecotone is an area where two biological biomes meet and blend into each other. one biome may extend further into the other at one point and the lines can easily blur; where does one biome end and the other start? this is a recording of what i’ve come to uncover from my mind and record whilst in my innermost haven. like the ecotone, the music is always flowing, ever changing."

German record label Giegling was born out of a mutual passion of music from a collective of friends and producers who originally set out to arrange parties in an abandoned building in Weimar for their friends. After their venue was demolished in 2008, the collective continued to make use of the Giegling brand they had formed and opened up their own vinyl only label focusing on the deeper realms of house and techno.

This mix was recorded by Ateq, a member of the Giegling collective, who will also release the labels 13th record, which features in this mix. Florian's mix is aimed to represent his personal perspective of the overall Giegling sound. In the interview we discuss the origins of Giegling and the people behind the label. We also discuss Giegling's relationship with Kann Records and the labels approach to hand crafting original artwork for their releases.

Started in 2010, Petit Astronaute has been developing its music for about ten years. His first ep (Line of Line) was released on: Pardon Records and a second ep (From Earth) came out on Circular Limited. ... With his record on @impressberlin released in autumn 2020 he lands a kind of little hype. In November than, Taupe made the debut on his own imprint "Colours".  His "Vested EP" is characterized by a timeless sound that always sounds a bit like the Detroit of years gone by.  His sound is on the one hand modern and trend-setting, and yet humble and extremely original at the same time.  It is very nice to hear that, will find out.  Listen!

... She is it, who is by our side with a load of bassy warmth this winter. With her series @tension_event (streams and parties) she represents the technoid-subcultural side of the designated cultural capital Chemnitz. There is still some time until 2025, but Isa alias TØSCHE does not want to lose any and is preparing as best as possible. We think this commitment is terrific, not at least because we know how it feels like shaping the music and club scene in a city suspended between the provinces and the big cities.
