Matterflow, aka Sébastien Deguy, is a France-born and now San Francisco-based artist. A slasher, he is a musician / film-maker / writer / executive / scientist / entrepreneur.

As a music lover, his tastes span from the underground to classical via jazz. His influences come from artists such as Amon Tobin, SebastiAn, Aphex Twin, Erik Satie, Prefuse 73, Björk, Erik Truffaz, Beastie Boys, Philip Glass, Rjd2, MF Doom, and more.

Matterflow releases his first LP in January 2016, with "Run", including various remixes of songs from Julia Kent (Antony & The Johnsons), Lena & The Floating Roots Orchestra and Petit Fantôme.

Between 2017 and 2020, Matterflow has released various co-creations, for instance: "Stockholm Syndrome" feat. Qwel (Galapagos 4), "Joan" feat. Black Sifichi, "Tapis de Montmartre" feat. Tido Caiman Berman (TTC), "Amotae 001" feat. Mike Ladd (Big Dada, Definitive Jux), Caroline Duris and Julia Kent (Antony & The Johnsons), "Amotae 002" feat. Roman Rappack (Breton, Miro shot) and a remix by Robot Koch, "Lost and Found" and "Fade Out" feat. Rosko John (Archive), a remix of "Turn to Dust" by Cascadeur.

His latest production is full LP "A Matter Of Time And Essence" in 2021.

He is coming back with a new set of productions, with featurings by Hip Hop legends and new leaders like Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Havoc of Mobb Deep, Killer Mike, Stalley, MED, Sole, Killah Priest, Guilty Simpson, to be released mid-2022.

Musician and Filmmaker, he proposes visceral and obsessive electronic music (bass, mid tempo, techno) and creates dark, intoxicating and exciting visual content (black & white, monochrome) around themes that he loves: nightlife, the deadly sins, and the magic number 7.

After many international events (Gartenstudio Gallery - Berlin, Center’s Art - Boston, Yes Club - Prague, La Gaïté Lyrique - Paris), many photographic books, videos clips and singles releases, Rith Banney co-founded with Matterflow his own label Material Boys in 2016 to propose new projects.
Between 2018 and 2024, Rith Banney has multiplied releases on international labels : Circus Records (UK), Play Records (CA), Natura Viva (IT), Grimey Records (US), Clepsydra (IT), Lotus Mathematics (US), Boxon Records (FR) and Limbo Records (IT).
He recently remixed « Shallow water » of Robot Koch and Fiora with their Dreaming Of Ghosts project  and « Salt Point » of Julia Kent.
He has been 342 days in the TOP 100, 1 time #1, 5 times in the TOP 10 releases and 8 times in the TOP 100 on Beatport.

Jon Hussey, a pioneer of the Irish Techno scene DJing since the early nineties, kick-starting at the infamous Planet Dub night in Dublin. He has promoted and resided at many Techno clubs throughout Ireland as well as playing in many Techno havens across the world including Amsterdam, London, New York, Bratislava, Berlin, Leeds and Turin.

In '99 Jon was among the first group from Ireland to qualify for the Red Bull Music Academy which was held in Berlin. Over the past decade he has kept this passion nurtured by being continuously involved in similar projects and innovations and recently organised a group of young rising Irish DJs and producers to participate at the pioneering PLUG “Plug European Electronic Music Conference” in Berlin. 

Music wise Jon has played alongside many of his all time favourite artists from @Plaid to Surgeon, Joey Beltram, Jeff Mills, Steve Bicknell, Sunil Sharpe, Takaaki Itoh, Ancient Methods, Loktibrada, Rumenige, Dave Clarke, Mark Broom, @henningbaerberlin, @inigokennedy, @neil-landstrumm, @Reeko, @Grovskopa, DJ Boss, Bas Mooy, PERC, @Hardfloor, Oscar Mulero, @jeromehill, AnD, @truss, @paulatemple, @SNTS, Christian Wunsch and @Exium!

In 2011 Jon dedicated some production time with fellow Techno DJ Sunil Sharpe as part of a joint project under the moniker Tricaustic and released “the Caustophobic Pressure EP” on Komisch records which was well received and supported by artists such as Dave Clarke, Surgeon, Peter Van Hoesen, Anthony Shakir, Kriz, DJ 3000 and more.

Recently the national radio station (2FM) were quoted in their Late Night Sessions Blog as stating that “Jon Hussey is one of the longest serving true purveyors of Techno in Ireland, running nights in the early days of Dublin's dance scene, when techno to most people meant U96 or 2 Unlimited. Consistently one of the best DJs around, Jon never lets the side down” giving a rare insight into Jon's personality as a DJ!
