A collab between two young and talented producers from Utrecht and Haarlem resulted in "Kushuka", a track with surprising elements that is a crossbreed between the modern and standard elements within the Electronic Dance Music. Where most producers choose for modern synthesizers and production techniques, Axl Ground and Bass Alive have used for example, the Roland MC -505 , something that is not very common these days . Started as a joint project in February this has evolved in a full-fledged cooperation and took its full potential over time . The process of the track went very natural and because the track needed a vocal, Bass and Axl started looking for one in several sample packs. They soon found the sample " Drop It " . It was bold, but not very original . When they searched for translations on Google translate they inserted " Drop It " and they eventually came to " Kushuka " . The translation of " Drop It " in Swahili . They liked it very much and decided to put it in the project. It's crazy , daring and above original . Something that has always been a common thread in the productions of Bass Alive and Axl Ground. Now that " Kushuka " is released by Proflexbeats.

Bass Alive: "A release is always nice and also a motivation for a producer. I actually live for these moments. My plans are to work on some new tracks as fast as possible and get into the scene."

Axl Ground: "In addition to the release of" Kushuka "I am busy with my own podcast and I am working on new content. The release really is another incentive to keep going. My focus is currently on improving my sound and enhance my reputation as an artist. That takes time, but it's definitely doable. "

That being said, the future looks bright for the two DJ’s and Producers, and with the release of "Kushuka" that future looks even a bit brighter as well.

Biography :

MAXXN is a young man born in 1998, from a french town at the North-East side of the country. He has grown up with the love of music since his younger moments. At the age of 18, he discover the EDM scene thanks to a friend who were already producing music. He just found the love of creating, writing songs and will release his first song called 'Till The End' in 2018 on Frequency Music. That same song will know a success (more than 20k plays) with some supports from Mike Williams, Brooks, Martin Garrix and more. He started playing at small clubs and festivals in France but he had to take a break for a long period due to studies and turned his music into something more Tech Housy later.

Now, his productions are way more groovy and represent him better :
Way To Go! is the sounds of his return into Tech House scene with more than 20,000 plays.

2024 will be a particular year for MAXXN with a lot of musics scheduled to be released. Don't miss the comeback!
