tickle fight is the experiment in clashing the familiar sound and tropes of hip-hop, rock, jazz and the electronic avant-garde. Mid-century and Post Modern styles are encouraged to engage freely with the concepts of found art, stream of consciousness in the spirit of the Beats, the use of id as the driving creative force and the fundamental philosophies of the so-called New Sincerity.The intent, to provoke consideration (even in the artists themselves) about how form frames expectation. To ask: Why do we often feel disappointment when those carefully laid plans don't produce the intended result? Does resolution exist in a natural state? or is it a construct of our need for Universal order? Perhaps the fault really does lie, not in our stars but in our selves. A small, rotating cast of collaborators assists. We are exquisite corpse meets oblique strategies.
