Asaf Samuel - Mayan Warrior - Burning Man 2022

Mayan Warrior is the result of a collaborative project that has united artists, craftsmen, photographers, designers, technologists, architects and musicians from Mexico City and Northern California. 

The project’s original intent was to present to the world the incredible ascent of contemporary Mexican electronic music while paying respect to the deep and ancient sources from which that visual and auditory culture had grown.


Both light and sound are curated by some of the world’s most prominent artists to transport participants to the very origins of the culture – and to a new understanding of contemporary electronic expression.

AND YES: Mayan Warrior is driven from Mexico City to the playa – and back – each year. It's a labor of love and we're glad so many people enjoy it.

Nacida en Italia con raices africanas y afincada en Barcelona

 Desde niña ha estado en contacto con la música ya que su padre es profesor de música Jazz y eso ha hecho que desarrolle  una amplia cultura musical.

Su primer contacto con la música fué tocando la batería y cantando en un grupo rap. 

Amante de la danza urbana y la cultura africana fusionada con diferentes variantes de la electrónica, eso hace que en sus sesiones se perciba ESENCIA

En el 2022 inicia su carrera como dj en la reconocida fiesta de Barcelona MELON PARTY y se ha propuesto dedicar su tiempo a escuchar tendencias y culturizarse en la música actual para poder llevar a cabo su sueño...
