Playing on the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man is a dream I’ll never get tired of living. Robot Heart is a constant source of inspiration to me and so many others! Grateful for the opportunity to play on the bus again. 

This year (2024), my set time was Monday Morning at 7:00 am so I wanted to prepare something special for the beginning of an unforgettable week. 

I decided to play a live set filled with most of the Edits/Remixes I’ve made along the years (for example: Edits/Remixes I’ve made of Alice Coltrane, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Michelle Gurevich, Acid Pauli, Nicolas Jaar, Fred Again, etc…). 

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the result of this experiment! 

Massive thanks to the Robot Heart fam and everyone who was there!

The Canine Metaphor of Society in Pink Floyd's 'Dogs'
The song 'Dogs', by the British band Pink Floyd, is one of the tracks on the album 'Animals', released in 1977. This album is known for its sharp social criticism, using animal metaphors to represent different types of people and behaviors in capitalist society.
The lyrics of 'Dogs' describe the need to be cunning and aggressive to survive in a competitive environment. The expression 'you gotta be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed' suggests the ability to identify and exploit the weak without hesitation.
'Dogs' is a reflection on the loss of humanity and the moral and emotional costs of living in a system that values ​​success at any cost, a message that remains relevant today.

Sainte Vie (Live) - Mayan Warrior & Robot Heart Tie Up - Burning Man 2019

Back in 2018, we came to Burning Man for the first time and we were instantly captivated by the endless and wild impressions of the desert, the art, the music, and above all: the people. It was the same year that, due to a lucky coincidence, we were invited to play a late-night set at Mayan Warrior. Within moments, we fell in love with the art-car and all the people surrounding it. We had a kind of musical epiphany there. So when we were formally invited to come back this year, playing a Thursday sunset concert, we didn't even have to think for a second. We were all hyped like crazy while at the same time feeling very humble about it. Visiting and playing at Burning Man, especially at this esteemed art-car, is something that really stood out in our lives so far. We will cherish this memory forever. It was the second time we played our hybrid live-set, but definitely not the last.
