I wrote "How Much Sadness Can You Swallow?" in response to a particularly disturbing nightmare I had of “a vision of hell” 8 years ago. After sitting with it for so long it’s taken on new meanings for me as I’ve gotten older; loss, self-blame, grief, new beginnings, self-love and power. I hope it does the same for you.
