THE OVER OVERS

San Francisco rock trio, The Over Overs, features Trevor Garrod, Reed Mathis, and Cochrane McMillan. With years of musical experience together, they formed The Over Over’s to bring their fans on a new journey of musical direction that they are proud to be taking.

Trevor Garrod is a singer and songwriter from San Francisco, California. Wall street Journal’s Jim Fusilli recognizes him as one of America’s 21st Century songwriters “ready to be seen and heard”. As the principle vocalist and songwriter for Tea Leaf Green, Trevor brings with him over fifteen years of experience to The Over Overs.

Reed Mathis is a composer and record producer from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reed is highly regarded for his innovative use of effected bass as well as his stylistic versatility. Over the years, he has played with bands such as the Steve Kimock Band, the Marco Benevento Trio, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, and the 7 Walkers.

Cochrane McMillan is a percussionist from Brewton, Alabama. He is part owner of Coyote Hearing Studio, which has grown into a popular recording location for many reputable bands across the country.

The Over Overs are looking to achieve the same amount of success with this project that they found with Tea Leaf Green by pointedly branching out and exploring new sounds. The band allows space for new direction through their focusing on improvisation and blending as a group. The trio's latest album, "Our Thing, Your Words (Vol.II)", showcases the band's improvisational take on covers by some of the most recognizable artists of the century.
