This is a combination of direct sample-based synthesis (mono sample over two channels, used for melody) plus 14 channels of subtractive synthesis (background chords), implemented by variable-resonant LPFs, of which 2 channels are (depending on user controls) temporarily driven by arpeggiator. The sound in this recording is unedited, unfiltered, recorded via Asus Xonar U3 USB Sound card. 

Further plan is to improve chord expander to not generate such high-pitch peaks as currently sometimes appear out of nowhere + implement a sensor to influence expansion parameters. Also, add dynamics to the direct-sample-playback method.
