Songstress Lauriana Mae is gearing up for her most personal statement to date. Growing up in the landscape of diverse people, blue-collar ideals, and joyous backyard gatherings with dynamic music playing. Just an hour away from that world, Lauriana chased her calling in New York City. Since her adolescence, the singer with the smoky voice took to the Big Apple with a backpack and a yearning to participate in the music industry. Out of that journey emerges this musical story.

Mae’s upcoming project retraces some of those experiences, some of which are ongoing. “It feels like a ton of bricks have been lifted off of me,” she says, now able to share her art without any red tape. “Before, I felt like I was searching for something that everyone else wanted.
