With her persuasive cross-cultural message, vocalist and songwriter MAYSSA KARAA defines a new era of musical inclusion. Her songs tell of a journey connecting her origins in the ancient land of Lebanon to her adopted home of Los Angeles, California. She is about to launch her full-length English solo debut, SIMPLE CURE.

"Call Me a Stranger"--the album's opening track-really captures the story MAYSSA tells on her album “SIMPLE CURE”. "I went into the studio angry," she remembers. "I have been in the U.S. for 11 years, almost half of my life, but sometimes I feel like I am in between two places, like I have lost a part of my identity. Every time I meet someone who doesn't know about my part of the world, I am compelled to tell them about the richness of my culture and traditions." After sharing these emotions with her producer, he suggested that she turn these truths into lyrics. 
"Richard turned my anger into creativity," MAYSSA says.

MAYSSA launched her full-length English solo debut album
"SIMPLE CURE" in 2019 with a celebration at the historic "Capitol studios" in Hollywood. The first song of her new Album "Broken Lines" was released on May 5 2018, and was selected to be part of the best selling Compilation Album of All Times "Now That's what I call Music" along with Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa, Leona Lewis, Imagine Dragons (distributed by Universal Music Group)
